I have a checking account attached to a fairly new Paypal. It's a premier and verified. The past 30 days I've taken in about $1000. For reasons I can't explain I can no longer deposit money into the current checking account attached. I have about $800 just sitting in the Paypal and nowhere to put it. Would switching the primary checking account to a new one raise red flags? The problem with the checking account has nothing to do with Paypal and they are unaware.

On a premier account, it's usually not a problem. I've added the new one, changed it to primary and left the old account still on file. I just make sure to never accidently use it again. Mostly as far as paypal are concerned they just want to 'see' an account.
I always worry more about changing phone numbers, email addresses & such.

Why haven't you contacted your bank? They may be blocking deposits made in another name. You can tell them to knock it off immediately or you'll close your account. Should get things back on track.
The bank has nothing to do with it really. I should have been more clear, I can make deposits into the checking account if I wanted, but I'd rather not for other reasons that I don't want to share with the public. Haha it's really nothing to crazy, anyways thanks greenbean.

I checked two 'main' paypal accounts.(I have 3) One is premier & one is business. I've added, switched bank accounts a combined total of 5 times. It's not unreasonable for paypal to know such things happen
