In that limitation message they ask like 3 times to call them and discuss business practices and supplier info, so I guess if you can assure them you are a big legit seller, they will lift the limit right away. I'm going to contact them and ask to remove the limit. We'll see what happens.

Did my post get deleted on the how to list more than 10 items? I just want to make sure i'm not seeing things... Damn, there's more info in the subscribers forum isn't there? Only reason anyone delete my how to... well and ebay finds out . I just thought up how to exploit it to list tons of more items. Gotta be quick though

Then all of a sudden it changes to 100 items COMPLETED or $5,000 in 30 days.
ebay/paypal is really playing games here. There is something strategic about what they are doing we just dont know what it is. im SURE they know exactly what they are doing.
Its all to screw us up before the holidays and limit what we can do. Lets keep chopping it up guys so we can get through the holidays and start the year off right and making lots of money.
I have listed over 100 items on a new account with the 10 item limit. sold over 50 in a little over a week. most around $14.99 range some over $39.99 and a few range from $150 and up. total sales of $1200 in 2 weeks. have withdrawn about half of it. waiting on delivery confirmation for the others. no issues.

They gave me a 10 item limit. I went on a listing spree and listed about 100 items just to see what happens. have sold about 50 items and I can still list. I also have gotten some feedback so maybe that makes a difference. no problems.
They are really trying to screw us for holidays. stay diligent.

You guys really need to take it easy. You create an account after being suspended, and list hundreds of items as a new seller, then you complain why you got suspended. Follow the limit, list few items until you get some feedback, then slowly increase the number of items.

We have about 50 active listings now and they are not really selling fast (1-3 a week) so we need to try something else.

We want to create more accounts as we have so many products that need to get listed. The only problem is for eBay HK accounts, the usually at some point ask you to send in your ID and address proof for verification. Anyone else have that same problem? I don't know if it's just a problem for HK accounts. I don't know how we can create so many accounts if they are going to ask for ID verification. Creating more bank accounts and more Paypal accounts is not a problem.

Any suggestions?
'am selling toys here. I phoned eBay for one of my 60-days old accounts and pushed the limit to $3000 + 300 (active+sold for both total value and quantity) cap. Noted that all my accounts are being linked. I tried to create more than 3 linked seller accounts but eBay told me that "You are selling in different (too many) eBay IDs, please decide and email us which account you want to use (close)" lol

The guys at new seller limits hotline told me to contact them on the 1st of every month, they will then review my performance and revise my selling limits base on account performance.

All I can do is to end listings that sold fast and relist. Pretty troublesome as I cannot find any auto-relist feature for Store listings.

It also sucks for high value products. (some of my toys are being sold for $150 so I can only put up 20 listings even at 1pc/listing, if they are slow moving then I don't think I can get enough feedbacks to push the selling limits)

For the ID and address proof problem, are you using different names in PayPal as well?

You guys are trying to get around the limits left and right and are then complaining that you're getting suspended. You don't get around the limits, you sell 10 items per month per account for 3 months and then you're good to go. The only secrets is more seller accounts. That's all.

I would have to agree. If you're just spamming your max allotment on you are asking for trouble. 10 items is nothing, list 2-3 a week for a month, just make additional accounts.

Now, that being said.I am going to try and hit my 10 cap on the 2 new accounts i made this week. I wonder how it works if you list an item in November and it ends in December.Which month does it count towards?

As far as I know, the 10 cap is a concurrent selling limit, that means you can end the listing at anytime to free those slots for new listings. Am I right?

And keeping sellers from "flooding" the listings (note the new duplicate listings policy).

It's just a guess, I could be wrong.
I'm just wondering if it is more related to the big sellers they bring on, as with this sort of thing and their tweaking of the search results, it does seem to point toward that. The only people that will benefit is those big sellers that ebay want so much.

Think about it, if you give a big company free listings, then you do not make any money until they sell their goods. So you would do what you could to make their items sell. They all so want those big companies to stick around, so if your stuff is getting in their way then you will have problems.

The rest of us pay for it if it sells or not.

Easy way to work that one out I suppose. Ask anyone getting this done to them or having their listings hidden to look and see if they have a big company as competition?

the 10 items start deducting as soon as someone wins the auction or when someone uses buy it now..

You can end listings and start as many as you need,

Remember the person dont have to pay but it will still count against you.

Example = if you are selling 10 baby can reads at 50.00 buy it now..

i can say **** this guy and buy all 10 of them and never pay you..

At that point you are screwed for that account until you file for unpaid item against me..

hope that helps
