Default Selling limits being lifted automatically, before 90 days, lately?

I have 2 accounts that had their selling limits lifted to at least 200 items, possibly more (haven't tried to list more than that in quantity). Both accounts are only around 60 days old, so they haven't reached the 90 days yet when the selling limit is supposed to be lifted. One has only 7 feedback from selling, the other only 11. About 2 weeks ago, both accounts were still limited to 10 items per 30 days.

Strange?

I have two accounts that are roughly 45 days old and in my seller dashboard it says I have no seller limits on quanties. I think this is a case by case basis.

Some of the ones i was talking about that were very old, just got bumped to 20/800 after 90 days. I'm not looking to drive a Bentley. So 20/800 is fine for me when i have a lot of accounts.. and a few unlimited

They have changed the limit from 10 to 100 items for new accounts and older accounts has much higher limits

so it means the limit is back to normal before Oct 1st

My 1 month old account with 25 FB still has 10 but my 3+ month with 100 FB only got bumped to 30 items. I guess its cause im selling VERO. Did they really stop the limits for new accounts mosguy? The one interesting thing about the 3+ month account is that the paypal is unverified but the spending limit raised automatically. I usually verify when I reach the 2k limit but for some reason mine raised to 10k spending limit without verifying!!! Never had that happen. Weird.

I started selling 2 days ago on an account that is only a bit over 1 month old. Was able to list 40 items (haven't tried more) without hitting any selling limit. The account has 0 feedback, nothing sold, nothing bought.

Seems like eBay finally noticed that limiting sellers to 10 items per month causes them to lose money in final value fees.

Yes, on ebay.com . I just tried another new account, only barely over a month old, same thing. No selling limit. And the ones I listed 2 days ago on the other account are still up, not taken down for verification nothing.

Yeah I've been checking the accounts I've been making under "all selling activity" and no longer do they have the limits listed like before. Looks like the good old days of ebay are back, I'm gonna have fun.

I wonder if eBay is just throwing in some curveballs to screw with us at the bat.

Sir,

Do you limit your total sales of the new account, which was a bit over 1 month, to under $500 for this month ? I will list on an account like yours , so how much do you think is a safe total sales limit ?

Thank you in advance sir !
Any other response is highly appreciated !

Account is about 45 days old from first sell (they don't count when open) and I have played around with it to see what's up since it's a stealfy anyway here is something worth noting:

If you list items as BUY-NOW then then 10/500 kicks in rather quickly ON PRICE PERIOD but if you do a straight up auction format only, I listed 14 items and revised each of them daily on a 3-day auction sold 4 of the items for $375 and when I went back to my auction to relist 2 items that where a BUY-NOW at $150 each baam it only allow me to list one and told me I hit the limit.. funny it did not say which limit so I waited 4 days until the other items where sold and no pending listings and I relisted 3 more items at a BUY-NOW pushing the $300 range and I got a warning about the limit but I was able to list them anyway but could not list anything else.

All this under 30 days so I removed (canceled all auction) all items and waited 4 days then listed the same 3 items in an AUCTION format only with low starting prices and all 3 are running now and will sell for way over.

So I decided to try and list a BUY-NOW item that would kick the dollar side of the counter over and BINGO it did I then got the confirm your identity page..

Go figure these ebag hags

I only list as Buy-It-Now and didn't get any limits, as I wrote above. Maybe it depends if your first few items are VERO or not.

I am about to list my first stuff after the suspension of my old accounts and I am going to go with some used stuff from the home before going all out with things I sell normally, I think its better to be safe than sorry :-)

I opened up 6 new ones, ten listings (auctions) on each. At the end of the week I went to clean up things and there are no notices for piece counts to stay under like at the beginning.
So the limit amount is on the active or sold page right?

Limits starting kicking in on eBay motors. I have one account over 45 days old that when I first started I sold $500.00 and listed more then 10 with nothing being counted on that limits chart in my Ebay, now I tried to list 10 auctions tonight after not using it for at least 4 weeks and I get a limit of 10 auctions or $500.00

I have another account opened on the same time as the other one and listed well over 5000.00 in 30days, now today its showing I sold a item, and have 7 left to list? WTF strange. I guess more accounts are needed, and this is random.

I have 2 main accounts, one is about 2 months old and limited to 100 items or $5k per month. The other account too. The 1st account has been with those limits since I opened it 2 months ago. I have hit the limit of $5k on that account in the 2nd month, cuz I needed the money.

The 2nd is about 2 weeks old now with the same limits. I will open more accounts and sell slowly to big them up over some months. I think 7 is the magic number.

Maybe the limits change due to the country the person is from or the IP address?

I listed my first 4 items yesterday and am limited to 10 items $500 limit already. I hope the other accounts don't fall under that rule
