Default Paypal Limited

I have a Paypal account that is limited and it says 'This limitation cannot be appealed against.' and I have about £30 left in the account but as I cannot appealed against, I will just forget about the £30 that is on the account, I want to make a new Paypal account so I can purchase items on eBay but my IP is recorded on Paypal servers, if I use a new IP like use my next door neighbour PC to sign up for Paypal account or use a other router will it work so Paypal doesn't know it's me with the limited account?

Welcome to the forums.

New IP and make sure all info is new. New user account on computer helps too.

A lot of ideas are out on the forums +/- you can pick up the eb ay stealth guide for sheer simplicity.

All the best.

Going to use his IP, because he hasn't made a Paypal account with the IP and all the informations are real but using my other neighbours address, if I use my Linksys router instead of BT HomeHub router will IP be the same or will it be different?

Hi. There are a few things you have to do to in order to get setup again.

As above says... lots of ideas here and the book is a straightforward guide to get you back on.

I am in UK and am not busy for a few days. If you get stuck, gimme a shout and I will try and help.... I am quite new, but I know a few bits and bobs.

Ideally, get a few peoples opinions and make up your own mind from there on what to do (withe the book you dont have to as everything is there for you).... Good luck

I do not know about linksys routers, but with regards to your bt homehub - if you turn it on and off (reset it) you will get a new ip address

You can check your ip address at various on-line sites (google it) to make sure it has changed

If your looking for the best solution for changing your IP i reccommend changing your provider to sky.

Once press of the reset button and bang new IP address every time

So on my BT HomeHub, when I press the Reset button, it will give me a new IP address? But I don't know if that IP address has been used to sign up for a Paypaypal account and I turn off my router everyday when I go to sleep, when I turn it back on, I don't know if I get the same IP address? Would you just recommend me to just make a new Paypal account using my next door neighbour PC?

^... hi.... how long on the sky setup before it is reset?

On my bt it takes about 1 minute.

I want to know because we have sky and apparently they offer free broadband (upto 1gb allowance I think)

If its free I will probably take it up as a spare connection.

Thanks
