ebay asked for receipts

Has anyone had any luck with receipts as proof of purchase eBay requests?

I have a reciept for some watches that i purchased at a warehouse sale, but the receipt doesn't have any detail, ie no product name or item numbers.

I sold these on one of my accounts a few months ago but eBay wants proof for some reason. Because of this it has limited both of my non stealth accounts. I'm still in the process of getting everything together for a stealth account but would like to get these accounts back in action if possible.

How far does eBay go to verify the legitimacy of receipts? The items were sold with positive feedback, no disputes. I know eBay doesn't really care about that just stating the info..

They 'want' receipts. If this is a real account, contact them and ask why. There's something not quite kosher. Get to the bottom of the story.

I had a similar situation with eB and they did not accept my receipts because they lacked authorized supplier info...
