Default Paypal verifed- Name question

Hi I am right in the middle of setting up my new stealth pp account and am following the guide but have just had a big panic. The pp account is in a friends name but the bank account is obviously in my name- this isnt a problem according to the guide,- I am simply supposed to put the name of the bank account as the same name as the pp account right?-problem is to get verified they send a dd request to your bank- surely the bank will simply reject this request when they see that the name on dd mandate does not match the name of bank account. I do not want to go any further- please help. Thanks.xx

The bank will accept the deposit if it's one of the banks known from the UK that does this. Does not matter on the name. When you verify your bank with pa yp al, a name is not required - you just type in your sort code and whatever or info is - KEEP THE NAME OF THE PA YP AL REGISTERED ACCOUNT.

For other folx to chime in and "alleviate" your fears, what is the bank you are using? Most banks are fine. I know ING is a problem...

Welcome to the forum easytiger.

Most savers dont work sorry to say - your esaver will probably be kicked back after a week or so.

Try and stick to current accounts

I have added it now so will see what happens. I already have 2 barclays esavers linked to 2 pp accounts in my real name for a good few months now and haven't had any problems. I bank with them anyway and can open a new esaver in about 10 seconds- I just panicked about the name being different. Soon I will be a pro like you lot. Thanks for all your help.xx

Welcome to the forums,'tiger

To maintain the stealth paypal it is better to use a current account. Think of it this way, it is one less reason for paypal to 'check' the account.

Look for that approach especially as you are using a frined to operate

e-savers dont accept the DD Mandate so in the long run they wont work

However e-savers can come in very useful when it comes to withdrawal after the 180 days
