Default lifting selling limits

Hi all,
quick question regarding the 100 item per month limit - is it automatically lifted after 90 days, or do i need to do further stuff to sell more than 100 items per month?

Am almost at the 90th day on my main stealth acc, would rather not phone them unless i have to, although i get a message whenever i am listing the 100th item to call them and discuss selling requirements. ok for a couple of days now as the new month just started, another 2 weeks and i should be at 90 days.

Anyone have any experience of this?

cheers

register as business seller can sell upto 100 items even is new account. and i think you need to call eBay to discuss with the limit, I only open my ebay business account 2 months but ebay just increase my limit after i talk to them.

It will be auto lifted, as long as you have built a solid selling history, if it does not lift after 90 days then either wait until next review or contact eBay.

As an add on, does anyone know if you have to be business to list / sell over 100 a month?
I have one business and one personal that are both on the 100 limit, soon approaching 90 days on the business so hopefully soon that will be lifted, but go anothe rmonth to go on the personal.

Was hoping to keep the other one as personal for now, to take advantage of 100 free 99p listings per month, but if anyone has a personal with no listing limits it would be good to hear from you

the same should happen on the personal account, i don't know if there is a set time though.

i have a personal account and it just keeps saying your approaching you 100 limit but it lets me keep list, i went well past 200 listings at the weekend and since then i have listed another 20 bin's

on an another account a couple of years ago it would not let me list passed the 100 and prompted be to become a business seller every time i tried to list, i just reduced the amount of items i had for sale and eventually i was allowed to list over the 100 items without any messages.

yeah I keep getting hit with the 10 item limit on new accounts. I just have to call them (it says if I call them to discuss my "selling goals" they might lift the limits"

It is wise not to post stuff like this in public

Just getting to this stage now really, think I have sold the maximum value I can for this month (can list cheap items but not expensive ones)

Account as 90 f/b over 100 transactions and DSR at 4.9+

Just emailed them now asking to lift, what is the best way to go about it?

Seems to be going great this account and really don't want to lose it but really need to be doing 3 or 4 times this through by Christmas

I think all of these are just random, not sure how ebay did it. I have several accounts in the past (real account), some have no limits at all from first beginning, some still have limits even after several months, all selling same stuff.

I remember once on a free listing day, ebay looks having some technical error and all my accounts could list as many as I want for free! Never happened again ever since...

Always be careful with trying to screw eb ay over on technical glitches - manipulation is a cause for banning.
