Ebay does actually write to sellers... In the US at least. I have received postcards and an ebay magazine. It could be a problem if mail is returned or if a random person receives it...
I think it was somewhere on this forum I read a nice method. When you have a new seller account, by default the marketing notifications are set to email, phone, and mail. You go into your account notifications and then change the marketing notifications to only email (uncheck phone and mail). I've been doing this on all my accounts now. Quote:
