Default Using Real Account Info

I have someone who I can use to start up an ebay and paypal account in their name. I am just wondering if I can get the initial 10 items lifted quickly if they put in all their information for Ebay and Paypal and confirm themselves?

I remember answering personal questions on Ebay about my friend on their account and the limits were lifted to 100 items a month with $5,000 monthly transactions. Is there a certain amount of time you need to wait before Ebay will let you do that?

Also, what about opening up an LLC in my name and using my friend as the contact person? Will that also work? Would ebay be able to link me to the LLC if I put my friend's name and address for the "Owner contact information" on paypal and "business contact information" on ebay?

And if I open a business paypal, should I also register a business ebay account?

Thanks.

When was this?

I have a real account and I believe the limits are only lifted after 90 days if you call in, at least thats the general consensus after reading around the forums.

What if you use stealth and you need the limits raised from 10/1k? Any chance of that happening?

Not until 90 days. They need to match you with public records to get the 100/$5k limit.

Login and under your account limits section when you click the link "All Selling" there will be another link that says "Request higher limits". If your account matches what can be found in public records, then you get 100 items/$5k.

Anything beyond that and they will want a phone call with you and proof of invoices.

Since your account information is all real, what does it say when you try to do what unkown5454 suggested? Does it give you an option of lifting the limit by just filling out a questionnaire about yourself online?

To be honest I haven't tried yet.

With my real account I remember I was only able to raise limits after 90 days ( this was around Feb-March this year.

When I raised the limits to my real account back then, I had to submit lisence, bill, and my name written next to it, as well as invoices for my products. But I remember specifically it was after 3-4 months after I started selling.

Will give it a try right now, if nothing is up, I will call in Tuesday first thing.

Successfully raised limits to 100 / 5000$

Thanks jman33 and uknown4545

This was definitely different with real account that got suspended, I didn't have this option back then, and had to call in ( maybe because I've only been in the states for a short while )

Gonna let the OP have his questions answered, don't wanna further derail it.
