Default Letting a friend use eBay account, what do you guys think?

So I have a good friend that got canned on eBay a while back and has a proposition for me. I have a solid gold pre-06 stealth account, over 800 feedback, basically 100% 5-star ratings all around. I don't sell that much, but if I did, it'd basically be a top-rated seller/powerseller acct. This is my one eBay account that I use for purchases and some sales to supplement Amazon and Craigslist income. Anyway, she is saying that she wants to use my eBay account and sell her widgets (cheap little things I think), but use her own Paypal account to accept payments. She'll probably run the account thru auctiva.

Any comments about this? I wasn't sure about this approach and wanted the opinions of everyone on here before committing. Friends are friends, but I have a golden eBay account that's over 5 years old and I'd like to keep having it.

Keep it then.

Also, if she is to use the account, adding her PayPal to it is a No No.

She'd have to use your PayPal account as well.

Absolutely NOT. Have her come to these forums and learn how to do a stealth account.

OR

Just sell the items for her and take a small percentage. If its a good friend just do it for her if she is just getting rid of some stuff.

If she is wanting to just sell and make money DONT DO IT.

Its just as easy for her to start another stealth account.

That was fast, I figured it would take a couple hours lol.

I feared as much, I'm going to have to find a way to tell her no. Mind if I blame you guys?

And no, I can't sell for her and use my Paypal acct. I don't want the tax complications (it's a stealth acct without SSN, but I declare all my income).

Seriously though, I have set her up with a good, solid stealth account, but it has a limit of 10 items a month and she's impatient. It took me 8 months to be approved for full Amazon selling, this stuff takes patience these days.

ovidiu is an Executive member and asks a question like this? WOW...

And an account like that is worth thousands of dollars so keep it to yourself.

Heh, I don't participate that much in the eBay areas, I figured out how to be cool on eBay a while back. My main focus is Amazon these days.

Well, Amazon is the bigger market, so I give you credit for success there. Haha
