EntroPay: are they pulling the same stuff as PayPal?
EntroPay restricted my account when I was half way through the account application process. They asked me for a driver's license / passport / ID card, a utility bill, a photo of my funding source, and one other thing (can't remember off hand).
I don't have any utility bills as I pay room and board to others who I live with. I have a disability so I don't have a driver's license. Providing photos of my funding source is not a problem. I told them this and said that I could provide a health card, birth certificate, social insurence number card, student card (I attended a government run residensial school) and CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind) card. I could also provide bank statements for address verification. In response to this I received an automated request for the docs which they had previously requested. At least PayPal is often willing to work with you if you are extra pleasant. So anyway, I go on the internet and research this only to find that many people just get their entropay accounts suspended after providing such information, whether funds are locked in the account or not.
Is EP really going to suspend / ban my account for little to no reason like PayPal will?
Is EP safe to use?
Can stealth EP accounts be created?
Thanks.
