Question I listed an item today and I got mc999...

I got an mc999 after listing one item for sale on a 1 month old account and I called ebay and somebody told me I present a risk to the ebay community and Im linked to other suspended accounts. This is how easy it is?

What's happening to link you?

Have you reapraised your account preparation?

Sorry to hear that, Fandango.

U know theres cases where ebay said u where linked but never was really linked its just a excuse to banned u i seen many cases like it where people said they where linked. U should ask ebay to proof it to u that u was linked show some kinda proof and i can bet they wont cause they have none.

I have 0 buyer feedback. The rep told me I could buy, but would have to take my selling somewhere else.

You sold without buying feedback - i don't know what you were selling but it's pretty tough these days to sell with 0 feedback from my own personal experience - you jumped in way too quickly.

Disagree with you on that Lumberjack - it all depends how the account is set up and what type of account it is.

you should ask for the username that you are linked to....ebay is not like amazon. amazon will not tell you who your linked to, but ebay will.
maybe it just depends on what item(s) you listed that got you canned

My opinion is that is all kind of related with the behavior on the site itself. Of course that if you buy something things will get clearer for them and not first option to ban or suspend you. But if you browse a little bit on completely different things and buy a couple of those things odds you get noticed are fewer. What i usually do is register, start to browse, calm down, buy couple of things, let some days pass, browse what i´m wanting to sell (category and specific items, calm down, pass some days, sell. There is no miracle on aqll this...It depends on too many factors and there are no absolute truth i think...
