YES YOU ARE LINKING!! ---:doh::rant:

josh 09-29-2011 07:46 AM

ok so i can open the emails? but not reply? is that still linking?

GrannyT 09-29-2011 07:50 AM

Yes you can open the emails

Yes you can read them

Make sure you are not showing remote content

This is basic simple logical stuff Josh

To make it simple you keep everything seperate - use your hand held to tell you where you need to go, not to operate from

GrannyT 09-29-2011 07:51 AM

Unless you are prepared to run a seperate hand held for each account - then it's OK

josh 09-29-2011 08:03 AM

thanks granny T, :)

im going to have 2 ebay accounts per paypal account....., so for these three accounts (2 ebay and one paypal) i have just one user account for these accounts? and use the same details for all of them, and share the same IP? dont worry i know the two ebay accounts will be linked, but im going to have more than one paypal account, so lets say i have 3 paypal accounts and 6 ebay accounts. 2 ebay accounts per paypal?, thanks

rsot 09-29-2011 09:55 AM

All info from the eb ays and pa yp al-associated therewith should match up.

You have 3 pa yp als in plan right? Make 3 DIFF USER ACCOUNTS - then for each pp, you make 2 eb accounts with same details.

All the best.

/josh thread onwards

some confusion here;

if image display is turned OFF, you can reply from same user but correct email. I respond on my main admin screen, which has no ebay or paypal attached to it (they have their own seperate users). When I say reply, I mean reply button or tab belonging to your email, NOT the yellow respond button belonging to ebay....eg. you respond to memberxyz@ebay.com and it goes direct to them via your email. Do not press yellow respond button that takes you to ebay login and messages....

hi, ok thanks guys, a little confused myself regarding the emails, some people say log into your ebay account and reply to your "messages" on eBay, but now i am to respond via my emails, via the reply button?
thanks

rsot 10-04-2011 12:32 PM

I prefer responding to messages when only on the eb ay website.

However, I do reply to messages via e-mail when I am in the CORRECT user account that is solely dedicated to that particular eb/pp account combo to avoid linking.

I keep it simple - yes might be silly, but I only check and respond to e-mails when dealing with that particular account directly.

GTB 10-04-2011 12:42 PM

same here

if i get a notification i log into there eb ay account and answer direct off eb ay

best to be safe than sorry as this topic is still open to debate

ok, cool :), but opening emails that come through on my blackberry is ok? just openeing them, so that i know if i have a question to answer....? thanks

josh 10-05-2011 09:39 AM

my paypal account was blocked for life (i think) with no appeal options, this was a month ago or so now, and thus what made me think about opening stealth accounts, which im still in the process of doing, getting everything together...just a question, if i open up a new paypal account with a name variation, new email...when paypal eventually ask me to confirm some documents to lift the limit, would they not see who i am again and link it back to the old paypal that got suspended? as i sent my passport in for the old one?? and what do i do about the address? i have made a new bank account and got a new card and is registered to my true home address, the same address that my old paypal was regiustered at (the one that got life long banned), so can my new paypal accoutn have a different address to the bank that it is registered at?

thanks soo soo soo much guys!!!

New is good. If you are asked to submit documents, you will have to have documents that match the stealth info - you must NOT reuse old documents no matter how easy it may seem.

im confused..., the stealth info on my first stealth account is going to be name variation, etc, so when they do come to asking to confirm ID etc, what do i give them?? if i gave my passport previously for a suspended account, what do i give them for my stealth account if its a variation??

GreenBean 10-06-2011 07:15 AM

Give them a variation of the variation AND speak to me now. :)

GTB 10-06-2011 07:23 AM

she knows her stuff:)
