Horrible Amazon Story

So basically i sighned up for amazon,
Sold a dvd as brand new, without case,
The buyer bought it and claimed that i sent him a used copy which i didn't,
and then demanded a full refund, i told him once i receive it, i will refund him,
he responses,
"IF YOU DONT SEND ME MY REFUND NOW, I WILL GIVE YOU THE WORST RATING AND FEEDBACK BESIDES FILING A CLAIM! IN FACT I WILL DO SO IN A BIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PKUS YOU SENT THIS DVD TO ME! YOU SHOULFD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT BEFORE DOING SO AND TRYING TO RIP ME OFF!"

Now before you think i am a scammer, i am not this is over like a 10 $ DVD it would be in my best interest to give him a refund( which i am) , but he turns around and gives me a negative feedback

Now do you guys have any suggestions?
I am brand new to amazon and never had a problem with this on ebay
and i have a neg on it ;0 for no reason !

The thing is, if a DVD comes without the case, then per Amazon's rules, it CANNOT be listed as new. A new item must come in the original sealed packaging with no defects.

If Amazon contacts you, you could apologize and tell them you misunderstood the rules. However, I don't see any way to remove the buyer's bad feedback.

Unfortuantely, you ran into a buyer who seems to have been looking for trouble. Most people would have been happy to simply return it for a refund.

Yeah i contacted amazon, and they said it was alright as long as i put it in a envelope,
but we did not discuss whether it has to be under new or not/

They also said if the dvd is returned not in original condition i can charge a 20 % restocking fee which i told him,
Yeah i was totally cool with it but this is just like wow,
Its crazy what people would do for 10 $ and im pretty sure the guy watched the movie and is claiming it to be used,

The only thing wrong i did was not take pictures before shipping it because that would have help 'says amazon rep

I had a guy went off on me for $5. For some reason whenever they leave feedback they claim that they contact you first but never do.

If they sell items themselves I buy stuff and leave the counterfeit ratings get them suspended if their new sellers or selling dvds... Not proud if it but thats what stupid buyers who dont contact you deserve

offer him a free gift to remove? he will prob take gift and not remove though ... some other thread said do a sob story like you are new and your packing guy made mistake or whatever...

yeah i was thinking of letting him keep the dvd and refunding him the 10 $ if he removed the feedback
but what if he trys to report that as well, imma try it in a bit lets see what he says

Sounds like he's a scammer anyhow, not sure you could have made him happy but who knows

Those types never take it to claims for just $10 cause they are only alloted 3 lifetime refunds. Good time to use up one of his refunds lol

I've had a few neutrals removed. Feel free to pm me what he said and I might be able to tell you whether it's possible to get it removed. I usually keep over 20% feedback (positive) because if not, then I suspect Amazon is less apt to remove feedback when asked.

I wouldn't do that, you risk loosing the account. I've seen plenty of accounts with 0% yet they survive
