Proof Paypal does not hire the smartest people

Amazing just how someone with no brains at all can get hired at paypal and make decisions with our money.

I dont get them often but got a temporary limited on one of my accounts to verify address.

So I sent the utility bill in and they declined it saying they cannot use a PO Box to verify an address.

The pp rep was looking at the address on the bill of the utility companies mailing address instead of looking at the correct address.

Proof they do not hire the smartest and brightest people if they cannot even figure out which address on a utility bill is the correct one.

Either they have lived with mom and dad their entire lives and never seen a utility bill to know or they are not up to the task.

This is true for everything in the world. There are hundreds of thousands of smart teachers, but the handful that make it on the news or do something dumb make all teachers look bad. There are tons of great buyers, bud the handful that try to pull scams make the whole buying community look bad. There are many great sellers but the ones selling phake items or junk items give ebay a bad rep.

Just curious was this a business account? I wonder how they do it when its a business account. Very rarely do businesses online use actual addresses but PO boxes so just wondering if yours was.

Well if paypal paid the smart people 100k a year then they would not be paypal would they? A rich company pays little not alot.

You forget that pp does pay >100k to its upper level employees - the risk management and statistical team - THOSE are the ones who have implemented all kinds of screens and security. Those reps on the phone are anyone who can handle basic convo and will work for base pay.

I know they pay over 100k, but most staff get paid probably 50k or less.
