Default Please Help, New Paypal Limited, no reason!!

right, this is a joke!, i havnt done anything on my account, just building the feedback from buying, and i go to start selling today and asks me to confirm a few things on ebay, before i do this i thought that there must be a problem with Paypal, so i logged on and low and behold my new paypal account thats has never been used to send or recieve payments is limited !!, they say the just need to confirm identity, i need to send a utility bill and a passport/drivers license to confirm identity...? huh!!, is this normal or is my account gone before its even started?
thanks guys, need your fast replys!

p.s: the accounts are spanish, but everything is in english if that makes sense, as i logged into paypal.com not paypal.es...

While this is normal in general, you prob did something to trigger it. 1st q - what were you selling? 2nd q - just building the feedback from buying...over how long?

Ebay is implementing a new identity verification feature. One can only think that that feature will also be implemented into paypal.

Your ip triggered it. If you used VPN your a gonner. You need a unique ip address. Also if your logging from spain and have a usa account then they may think you hijacked an account.

hi there m8, what do you mean by IP triggered it? i have a unique IP address and have been refreshing the IP address everytime i have been logging onto any of my accounts, i have been keeping a strict record of the IPs, and also im logging in from Spain, on a spanish registered account using spanish ebay...so personally i really do not see the problem, however i did buy some things from ebay uk, but i cant see how that would affect anything...?

Ok so 30 days old - you were not even trying to sell right? - low risk buying feedback (office supplies)...hmm I wonder if these folders and pens are considered bad on eb side...or maybe manual review?

It's normal for new PERSONAL accounts where the information given cannot be checked by electronic means - if you don't exist in the system you have to prove that you do exist

If GB has stated something, I would consider her words to speak the truth virtually all of the time.
