Default What did I do wrong?

Tell me what I am doing wrong? I bought two stealth accounts from doughboykilla.

-I created a new user account on my computer for each of the stealth accounts
-I always changed my IP before switching from one stealth to another

I listed a $5 dollar item on each account then bam they got hit with a MC999-Account Restricted.. They want me to call them within 48 hours to verify the accounts?

They both might have been made via the same IP address, thus when activating them to list an item, this might has flagged the accounts for review. Struggling to think what else this could be, unless you've changed / used the same info on accounts? ebay or paypal

** Also, you want to start with one account..and watch it grow..its a slow process, but when its up and running, then work on another, saves problems like this **

Nope, bought them brand new from a guy named doughboykilla on these forums. Aspkin approved. I don't think he would make that kind of mistake. And I was starting slow, I only listed a $5 dollar item.

The account seller would not make this very basic mistake.

How much feedback on the accounts? How much time since creation did you start selling?

Nope i always change ip address when i make accounts by cloneing my mac address.
what way did u change your ip proxy or VPN or through the router. also i know its bad to start off with a new account selling new items. usely if ebay sees a new user who never sold start off selling new items then there up to no good and they will want u to call.

I change my ip through the router, which is very simple plug and unplug. So, if I start off selling used items that wont raise as much suspicion?

You make some browsing and buying history, at least for a week. Get few feedback's, when list 1 item, get positive feedback, list 2 items, get feedback's, list 3-5 items.
Dont rush the things...
Have 2 acc from doughboykilla (very speedy service i must admit), making some bids and browsing at the moment, getting ready for listing first items.
Also have acc from Bin4ry , also doing some bidding even my acc is couple months old, getting ready to list first items.
I never list more than 1 until get positive feedback as a seller.
My first stealth now is 60 days seller and got increased to 20 items 1k usd limit, so far so good, looking promising...
Fist item i listed after made 20 buyer feedback in 30 days, ONLY then i listed my first item.

How can I buy on this account though? The eBay account is registered to a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address in a different state? :S?

How do you buy using stealth account if the address is bogus? Do I tell seller to ship to my real address?

Also, I have some trepidation in believing changing user accounts on your computer will really work? My computer is shared with other family members and I am deathly scared of eBay linking stealth with my one good account. I use wireless on my real account and dial up for stealth. So far have not done anything on stealth apart from browsing.

Thanks for helping.

how do you buy? it is risky but agree with seller before hand and keep your address off any ebay messages. The seller pay add address to paypal shipping though, so its a risk....

other way is if address does not exist at all, to let it get shipped in to the ether.....

yes user accs keep cookies seperate its ok......do not share you PC with others who have ebay as they will mess your stuff up, have a seperate laptop, you can get secondhand one for $150

Well I noticed on the past few account I had that if I tried listing even a dollar item withing the first 2 days I would end up having to make other accounts. It's best to wait at least a week before attempting to sell anything. And best to start small. Buy a few items first. If you cant buy then sell some cheap stuff for less than normal price so it sells fast and you can move along quicker.

What i would buy is cards like pokemon and ball cards these are cheap and people collect them so it wont look like feedback buying also buy cheap items from china they have all kinda cheap stuff usb readers adaptors and what not for like 50 cents free ship.

It's really important to establish cookies and browsing history. Just search through the categories, click on advertised items from the Eb homepage, and add a bunch of stuff to your watch list. Also buy a few junk items like DBK said and use your $1.95 from your PP expuse to pay for it (gets you feedback too). Do these things first and you shouldn't be asked for ID.

Even better, I like to buy or make a good handful of accounts and then let them sit 2 weeks, 30 days, 90 days+, however long I can last.
