BEWARE - Just lost a 2 year old 1500 FB account

Amazing. Beware of the already known info being shared between eb and pp.

After going 1 1/2 years without losing an account and lost an account a month or so ago due to scam artist knowing the name on the account, I just lost a great 1500 fb 100% 5.0's 4.9 4.9 5.0 DSRS account.

I got the MC999, called them and passed all of the questions. ( Unlike a recent account I failed all of the questions and ended up getting the account back with some good info ). Ebay sent the message the account was good to go and you could start listing again.

Started to list the first item and saw something in my inbox. Clicked on it and pp is limited because they state this account has like or similar information of an account that is negative 1100.00 and gave me the email of the limited account. I have never had an account with this email so somehow they linked the accounts to someones suspended account.

The first listing went through fine then within 5 minutes came the suspension of the ebay account.

Even a solid account like this one is no longer safe so be aware if you have good accounts like this one that it can go down in a heartbeat. We all know not any account is safe but with not one issue on the account ever and not even withdrawing a ton of money or anything it tells me we all must watch our backs on all you older golden accounts.

Problem with me is I just sold 2500.00 worth of items on the 1c listing day a couple of days ago and only withdrew 250.00 which I normally do with no problems. Now pp has stolen 2250.00 of my money and I will no longer be fair with them. I am making it my goal to get my money and then some back since they once again screwed me out of money right before Christmas.

I got over them screwing me years ago and about costing me my home but now I am on a mission to find ways to make them pay me my money back. The heck with the 180 pay backs, I will get my money they owe me.

Sad part is every single person who has paid was shipped out this morning. I have been able to refund their money in the past and asked them to re send to another paypal as this pp was hacked and worked very well. This time I wanted to ship quick and did only to get screwed by eb and pp.

Sneaky asses will pay for this. No more Mrs nice lady.

Have you called pp and told them you have never heard of that email? It's worth a try, especially if they have no proof.

I know ebay does when they have no other reason to suspend you or won't tell you why. I've never heard of pp doing it though, until now.

You can tell paypal or ebay you are not linked and the don't give a crap how much document you send in. They should be in the fortune 500 for worst customer service in the world!

It sucks sandy to have had shipped out so many items and hours later your account is a gonner has happened to me. Best you can do is email your customers and tell them there item has been shipped out and will they be able to send you funds to another account if you refund them. Some might scam you and some might not.

This got me mad just by reading it. I really do hope you find a way to get your money back. And i pray to god one day someone will put this company 6 feet below the ground.

forget health care reform, we need ebay/scampal reform:clap:

Actually Fandango that is false. If they have proof you are linked(cookies, name/address, etc), then sure they won't budge.

However if they just made up an email/username and said you were linked, you can get that removed by calling them. Ebay has done this to several people here on the forum.

I cannot explain to keep the peace. I lost an account due to someone creating and knowing my ebay/pp name. It was the only account I had lost in a long, long time.

The point of that sentence was to point out that I do not lose accounts by making mistakes and that others with this much fb should be careful because ebay just took down what I thought was a golden account.

The issue is the account I lost with the 1500 fb.

So you are saying somebody ( competitor maybe ) made a seller account knowing your name/address, got that one suspended, which in turn got yours suspended since it shared same information.

I am intrigued by this as well. I feel sorry for you for you losing your account but I have a feeling that there is more to this than meets the eye....you don't have to divulge names but it would be useful if could further outline the context of this incident/what the chain of events were in this & flesh out the circumstances of you losing this valued seller account.:juggle:

For the sake of harmony, dont bring that up on the forum.

Naturally users will want to know more.

More prudently do not address it.

As much as we keep our business private, the post could have been made the same way.

It's letting a cat out of the bag. Not so sure it should have been let out. :peace:

synopis

A good account went down because of claims by paypal.

Said claims have no justification .

Left struggling to resolve the issue.

What you do OR want to do is NOT the business of the forum.

No account is golden. Bad lesson to learn but a true fact.

I am really sorry this happened. :peace:
