refunds/buyer account

I created a buyer account today but i am not sure which would be better or does it make no difference. Should i use a vanilla gift card or should i buy a greed dot money pack? I only need about $100 on the card. If i get refunded does the money go back on the vanilla gift card or on my pp balance? Also do is it a requirement to have a CC on file to buy things as a backup method?

vanilla or green dot should be fine. money would go back on the card. no need to have cc on file to just buy

Thanks. Do you know what the limit is on these green dots for pp not to ask for SSN? I'd rather go with that option, refunds going back on a gift card seem a little shady to me. Maybe im just being paranoid.

the limit is 250 if your talking about a greendot money pack
