Paypal - Confirm location via landline?

any new information on this? The stealth book doesnt seem to have any. Can I just call and have them send me a letter as I dont have a landline. its a UPS box, or would the UPS ppl let me use their number?

You can also change the address when you get this and have them send a pin code.

don't need a landline, you can use Google Voice.

No for me at least google voice does not work to confirm location, everyone keeps saying google voice but this is for the confirm location part of paypal not just a number for the account

I seem to be missing something here, since when does Paypal require a phone number to confirm a location?

If you add a CC, Vba or real Bank Account, that's it.

nope that is not it, not often but they can give you a request to confirm location with a phone and it has to be a landline, they send a call to it and you have to enter a code they give you when the call comes in

this depends on how the account is created I think.

If a user makes an account with a made up name and an address in no data-base then a confirm location happens.

Days of make-believe info being used by would be sellers caused this.
paypal needs to have a level of trust in an account.

Yes i can believe that is a possible reason but the only way i can beat it now without a landline is the gas station trick

You define how you make an account and what happens that you get the issue from paypal.

You dont know the definition of help us all? This is a us accounr and the request comes in many different spots.
1 when you try to buy something and checkout with ebay checkout
2 account gets limited and this is one of the limits
3 after you receive a payment

There is no place II would say that is specific but happens

I am aware of the many many posts regarding this. In no way do I doubt there is a problem. I just double-checked something.

I have not noticed a post saying
I made my account in this manner......
and there was a description, word by word of what was done.
It would be helpful to have that info

This is a real issue and if anyone who really makes a lot of US accounts they see this often.

My ip is great
My address is a real res address
My accounts all have confirmed cards
All have boa accounts
My accounts all have sep users
Names are stealth but sim to and in some way pdc connected to the address
All first items sold are .99 start used non trademarkedd items in low risk categories
Never sell anything over 100 until 90 days is up and 21 day hold lifted
And this ban can come anywhere in this process day 2 or day 90
Phones are tracs all forwarded to a phone i answer without fail
If i am missing something please tell me ?

Not time specific.

Said account may have had some transactions previously. Amounts not super high risk.

Questions:
at time of account creation was the phone number that got put on the account new ( as far as you could tell)?

is paypal verified?

is the info on ebay/paypal the same?

has ebay ever contacted you via the tracfone?

With the transactions that cause paypal to flag the account, has there been problems?

What makes paypal 'interrupt' a buying transaction and act like the account holder is using an account that is unverified or unconfirmed?

Any of these transactions for digital goods?

No normal low risk and sometimes not even during a transaction
