Default Calling pp/eb*y

Pretty sure this has been discussed some time before but i always like to make my own thread to get responses that are up to date. With that said, how do you guys call pp/eb*y?

I'm pretty sure the call center or whatever you want to call it does not have caller ID's. And if each little box station the reps sit in has a caller ID phone i would be kind of surprised. I would imagine even if they did they would not check what number you are calling from.

But you can never be too safe. So im just wondering if anyone has any experience calling them with the same number with multiple accounts. And what about blocking your number. Many phones out there now have option inside the phone to block the number.

Just thought i would ask this now since my 180 days will be up in about 3 weeks and i feel like they will give me trouble before they actually release the funds.

Spend the small amount of money to call with a new number to ensure you get your 180 day paycheck.

What amount are you working with LoopHole? Even when I have had 180 days go by on accounts with 5 digits in them, there has not been an issue getting the dough out.

As for your comment on caller id's...FanDango is right about his comment ha 1945...

They do have caller ID & there are even CRM packages out here that will link your calling number to your customer records held on file & these will be pulled up in front of the customer services representative computer screen for your particular account.

Not much... i saw it coming so i got most of it out before i got hit... but its like $300-$400 in there. I just like to stay ahead and ask questions just in case trouble comes my way. And knowing my luck it just might.

Buy yourself a $10 tracfone and you are good to go. It's the cost of doing business.

I agree.

We can get a lot of mileage out of a 10.00 pre paid phone.

Did exactly just that. It'll come useful to call them and to verify other accs as well.

There is no way i would risk ringing them from any other number that is on my Eb/PP its just 1 think that could go tits up when its very much avoidable.

Yup if you have a jailbroken iphone you can download spoofapp from cydia, there is a charge of $9.95 for 100 minutes but you can put any phone id in so its the registered phone calling from the seller to pp/eby.

If a man has registered as a woman it has a womens voice changer and vica versa.

I have worked in call centers in the past... (Thankfully not anymore) At a small company we had normal caller ID on our phones.. Everyone has caller ID these days. Larger call centers like ebay and paypal's probably have caller ID that automatically searches for accounts and pops them up on their computer screens... I worked for a large TV company... When customers called in, their phone number from the caller ID automatically brought up their accounts..
