1 day auctions

Do you have to have a certain feedback or something to have these available? I see none of my new accounts have this while all of my aged accounts all have it.

You need 10 feedback for this either seller or buyer I think. Somebody else could confirm.

Feedback requirement for 1-day listings
To offer a 1-day listing, you must have a Feedback score of at least 10.

The fine print
1-day listings are not available for eBay Motors Vehicle or Adult Only categories in the US or Canada. For safety reasons, some items may not be eligible for 1-day listings.

Listings that run during the daylight savings time change will still receive the full amount of exposure. For example, if you have a 1-day listing that you start at 1:00 PM Pacific Time on Saturday, it will end at 2:00 PM Pacific Time on Sunday.

Everyone forgot to mention you can do 1 day auction if you have 5 feedback and your paypal is linked to your EB.

I have found that if you SCHEDULE the auction, the 1 day auction option becomes available.

If its a new account it should have a low item limit anyway... so why not go for a week or 5 days?

I listed an item saturday night. I have 5 feedbacks on new stealth account and am linked but no one day auction. Might have to have more sales feedbacks. I only have 1 seller feedbacks and 4 buyer feedbacks. They are allowing me 1000/$5000 sales capacity. Will try the scheduling method.

I have been lucky enough to list past my listing limits on many accounts.

Since I want to gain fb on most of these accounts I have been able to pick up a couple extra fb by hitting the one day auctions once in a while.

Some kind of glitch maybe but they have not done anything about me over listing items either.

IMO leave one day listings alone - they bring unwarranted and unwanted attention - use 3 day

I used to have a few one day listers, usually brang in new eBayers who didn't pay, not sure why though.
