I do not know.

I am actually thinking of doing an e book myself.

If I can find the time.

I think I could do well with one as someone on the net has sold over 5000 copies of an e book filled with garbage, not up to date information on antiques and collectibles for 6.95 each. I bought one just to check it out and it is not worth the time to download it. Full of old info, copied info and list of top 100 items that dont sell today.

Please make an ebook Sandy Id be your first customer. Im always in thrift stores but its mainly for clothing for myself and two sons. Im surrounded by thrift stores and goodwills, actually found a salvation army about a month ago that does half off of all clothing and accessories in the store and select furniture. I get great deals most of the time I find my sons name brand clothing for .50 to 1.00. I could easily make money selling the clothes on ebay but it would be a lot of work for me right now since im pregnant. I would love to venture to the electronics sections for potential sales. I always come across old game systems like playstations, game boys and etc didnt know they had worth. Dont really know much about glassware, silverware(noticed you said get a magnet lol), and antiques and collectibles. I would love to learn since im always in a thrift store.

Found tons of stuff today at yard sales and thrift stores.

Find of the day was a vintage 1970s hockey item. Wont describe because its already on ebay and over 300.00. I found it at a yard sale for 5.00.

Electronics is a tuff learn for me, trying to learn as well.

Got back from yard sales this morning and started sorting boxes from the auction the other night.

Holy crap, one of the box lots I bought had a ton of silverware in the bottom.

I found more then 5 pounds of silver flatware in the group. I did not look at it well at the auction but for a couple of bucks and some other miniatures in the box I took a shot at it.

Some of the flatware is not sterling silver but 5 pounds for a box lot I think I paid 5.00 for.

Look for the flatware folks, take a magnet with you etc to sort the crap from the real good stuff.

I got a nice bag of Game Boys and games at a goodwill this weekend. 2 Game Boys and 5 games. Paid $16. I looked them all up online and I should bring $200 easy with the specific games in this pack.

For all the musical people here.

I bought a group of Fender items at an auction last week and listed a couple items on CL.

We met with a buyer tonight at the storage shed and he bought everything we had. His offers on several things turned out to be awesome and he was the most honest buyer I have ever met on a CL deal.

He straight up told us what things were and the value. He was a collector, not a re seller and told us how to research the items etc.

I did and he paid us pretty darn close to what things are going for.

Object is if it has a famous name on it and the price is right go for it.

Scored big time today at the Salvation Army store.

Goodwills have a different color tag on sale each week. It's based on how long the item has been on the shelf. The specific color is 50% off all week. Then on Thursday those color tags are only $1. Check next time you're at a goodwill to see if they do this by you.

For some reason there is no sales tax at Goodwills and most thrift stores in my area...

But how do you get a vendor's license? Just form an LLC?

You can get them at your local county courthouse.

Careful, they will send you pp tax info in Jan so you will need to have a book keeper handy.

Some finds from the yard sales Fri - Sat

Small furniture, cast iron outdoor set table 4 chairs for 30.00. CL item should go for 100 or more easy.

3 oak pcs. Coffee table and 2 end stands 40.00.

4 Oak high back chairs - 25.00 Should get 100 on CL easy.

Box of GI Joes

Partridge Family lunchbox

12 Holiday Barbies 2.00 each. Not a huge profit but a few bring 25 and most average 12-15.

2 pcs Roseville Pottery 10.00 ea. One will bring 250 easily. Other 100.00. Seller had no clue what they were which is odd today.

Fenton Glass bell collection.

Star Wars 1978 items.

Probably the buy of the day was the Air Jordons in original box for 25.00. What little research I did these are from early 2000's and never worn.

2 Harley leather items. Jacket and set of chaps.

Good day to be out at yard sales.

I used to watch a show from the UK do not know what it was called.

An antique dealer would give 4 people money and have them go out and find stuff at a flea market and see who found the best stuff.

I take my kids to school and head out to the thrift stores, antique shops during the day, pick the kids up and get them settled at home.

Take pictures, write ups, list on ebay. Stop to spend time with kids and hubby.

When they all go to bed I am back at it until 1-2 am almost every night.

Go to 2-3 auctions at night a week most weeks.

Sometimes I hit 2-3 thrift stores and back home around 1 to pack pictures etc and sometimes I hit as many as 6 thrift stores, antique malls etc.

I have a route I take.

Two mornings a week I go to 2 different large flea markets, takes about 2-3 hours to go through them.

So yes, I work hard and spend a ton of time doing it.

But, I enjoy the hunt and the money/profit.

Last weekends yard sales were one of those Saturdays when I cannot wait for the next community yard sale. I have my eyes on two big ones in gated areas this weekend. Will be a good weekend for sure.

I am very busy and do not waste much time.

I have to be organized or I wont get anything done.

Today I hit two thrift stores and back home to put some food in the crock pot for supper, take some pictures, toss packages into the van for the PO and off to pick up the kids from school.

I am truly enjoying what I do.

The hunt is what makes me go. I have found some money making rare items over the past few months just when most say there is nothing out there to find.

I liked that show. Is it on anymore?

I never miss Storage Wars, American Pickers etc. as I always watching to learn more.
