I started selling on ebay last week. sold 10 items shipped 10 items same day they received it received some of the BEST feedback a seller can get from a buyer and now less than 7 days after the items were sold paypal is releasing all the money.
I guess the implemented the supermedia like tracking where they track each item to see if its delivered waiting 1-2 days ( as 99% of customers complain within this time ) and release the funds should no one complain.
Unless you're selling real ****ty items you shouldnt have a problem with what they are doing if you intend to be legit in the long run.
