Default My first limited paypal

This is my first one! Welcome me to the club!

I totally forgot about the account. Its been 190 days since i got the email of it being limited and stating i need to wait 180 days for it to be released from my last transaction. By last transaction do they mean ANY transaction? Such as refunds or only payments received?

Because if they count refunds i have a little bit more waiting to do. I'm probably going to call them tomorrow anyway but this is just something id like to know.

haha yeah not such a great club. But i haven't got the email yet. But i counted the days and its been well over 180 since i received any payment. And about 165 since i refunded someone. I would think that it should be released by now.

Email Paypal and explain how you have not had any complaints and enough time has passed and you are requesting that your funds be released immediately. I email them after 45 days and usually get my funds released so definitely email those *******s asap.

That is exactly what i did. I CLEARLY stated what i was contacting them about and here is the response they gave me......... Are they serious???? B/c that really has nothing to do with what i emailed them about.... Maybe i emailed the wrong dept or something??? Which pp email did you contact them by?

Thank you for your email. Customers who use this form tend to have
questions about sending money or raising sending limits. I wanted to
share some basic information you may find helpful, starting with what
happens when you send money using PayPal.

How is my payment paid?

When you send a payment, we automatically take the money from your
PayPal account balance. If there’s not enough in your PayPal account
balance, we use your backup payment method, such as the bank account or
credit card linked to your PayPal account.
If you have PayPal Smart Connect, a PayPal Extras MasterCard®, an eBay
MasterCard®, or a Bill Me Later® account, you can make it your automatic
(“default”) payment method instead of your account balance. You can
apply for a PayPal Extras MasterCard – and other PayPal cards – by
logging into your PayPal account and clicking “Products & Services.”

Before you can send money

We want PayPal customers to buy and sell with confidence, so we require
everyone to complete one of the following before sending money:
- Add and confirm a bank account (click “My Money” in your PayPal
Profile)
- Add a credit or debit card to their PayPal account
- Be approved for PayPal Smart Connect or a PayPal Extras MasterCard®
If you’re approved for a PayPal Extras MasterCard, you’ll have a
temporary credit limit and you can use your card immediately.

Why we ask for financial info

Adding a bank or credit card lets you buy things your PayPal balance
can’t cover. And because you have more ways to pay, adding another
payment method can help lift any sending limits on your PayPal account –
that way you can send more money whenever you want to.
We understand that you may be reluctant to give up sensitive info like
your credit card. But we’re committed to protecting your financial data
– at all times. You can learn more by clicking “Security and Protection”
on any page of the PayPal web site. Or you can reply to this email and
ask how we protect you.

No bank or credit card

If for any reason you can’t add a credit card or bank account, you can
still send money with PayPal using a Green Dot MoneyPak. Visit the
MoneyPak web site for step-by-step directions.

Still can’t send money?

We realize this email doesn’t answer every question about paying with
PayPal and your issue may be unique. If that is the case, remember that
it’s always a good idea to contact the seller. There’s a good chance you
can work out a way to make the purchase happen.

You can also reply to this email with as many details about your
situation as possible, and I’ll do my best to help you. Or you can call
us at 1-888-221-1161 (or 1-402-935-2050 outside the United States). In
the meantime, thanks for being a valued customer.

And its not that bad only about $300 in there. I think ill just have to give them a call to see whats up. Only reason why i wanted to use email is b/c i don't have a # that i have not used before. So i would have to get a new one which means $$$.
