Default eBay selling limits due to low DSR...

Hi all,

I have a query, I have an account that is a few years old but has been below standard due to one low dsr star for a good few monts now.

I have a lot of items listed on this account and it says I can sell about 70 odd with a massive price limit.

My question is, as a lot of my items are outdated etc I was wondering if there was a way to take all my items off and list just 70 odd newer items?

My dsr rate is improving but it is soooo slow due to the lack of items selling from the account.

Does any one have any suggestions to get this account back to regular standing?

1 low DSR ? dispatch time im guessing ? sell only what you have and ship immediately, answer all emails courteously and promptly, describe the item well and free postage

kinda covers it, not much to go wrong then

also i had 90 odd items listed that werent selling on a similar account, i removed them all and the limits adjusted accordingly automaticvally, i then relisted 90 new items

Ok, I hope I don't sound slow but I'm trying to understand your problem.

Your limit is 70 listings a month. You want to make it higher. Ebay said it won't go higher because of your low dsr.

Did I understand correctly?

I don't know what you mean by "outdated" but if you are asking how to get your score up higher it would help to know which category you are hurting in.

Yes, just end all the auctions and list your new stuff.

Nothing difficult, you don't have to list the same items because you have a selling limit

Hey =) thanks for the comments!

I maybe should have been more clear, this account has been unlimited so has around 90 listings with hundreds/thousands of variations.

However, my selling allowance is: 70 odd and around £200,000 ?!
It says I can't list any items.

My low dsr is dispatch time - due to a bad spell around October, all my items are shipped next day or before now but the feedback is just taking forever to get that dsr back to normal.

I'd like to be able to post more up to date items but I am wondering if I remover all my items listed what would happen?

Thanks for the help & Advice

Already been answered above

If you end those auctions then you can list new ones up to your selling allowance

When I had a 100 selling limit on one account towards the end of the month I was reducing listings all over the place just to get stuff on that was guaranteed to sell but may not be for the same money.

I know people say don't sell to the limits but I was bouncing off that, right to the line, for 3 months - then they removed the limit and it's free and clear now

It must work differently for UK Ebay.

I never knew that you could take down items and they will actually remove it off your limit. Does taking down a bunch of auctions raise any red flags?
