Didn't think the could ID e/p cards

They would know its an entrop card though - maybe that triggered it?

Doubt it unless they are now going to block all e/p cards

every CC/VCC has an identifiable string of numbers which corresponds to the issuing bank. so they would know which bank it came from

Thats a given, I understand how card numbers work but why would they block/detach an e/p card that had already been verified?

Was it a newly created card or an older one that may have expired?

Could be issues ahead if they are going to block all e/pay cards in future.

In North Am, already problems with EP so perhaps, it's beginning to move across the pond? Don't take my comment as proof but I'm just speculating.

not an EP card on my account with the same problems although it is a VCC

Just realised i do NOT have a CC or a VCC attached to this paypal. Everything else is corect...bank verified / address confirmed
