Pros & cons of stealth address types
Hello everyone,
First time post here so be gentle.
I'm just looking for some clarification on what type of address to use for a stealth eBay account. This is what I'm understanding after reading the guide and researching the forum so far: Family or Friend
Pros: Easy access for returns and postal verifications / Easy to lift PayPal limits using debit/credit card in their name
Cons: You don't want to risk getting them involved if things go wrong Variation of real address
Pros: Easy access for returns and postal verifications. (if address is very similar and it gets to you ok) / Easy to lift PayPal limits using debit/credit card in your own identity but obviously a new card
Cons: High risk of failing a manual review or automatic linking. Virtual office / mailbox
Pros: Fairly easy access for returns and postal verifications / Less risk of them linking accounts to you / Good chance you'll already have some proof of address ID if asked by PayPal (such as rent invoice)
Cons: The address might already be blacklisted from a previous suspended user / Increased cost per account / Will need a VCC in virtual office address Empty house, shop, pub or warehouse
Pros: High chance that you will not get linked / Easy to get creative with ID.
Cons: No access to returns or postal verifications / Will need a VCC in this address Random residental address
Pros: Very high chance that you will not get linked
Cons: Unethical and I wouldn't like it done to me / Will need a VCC in this random address
I've probably missed a few but hopefully that covers the majority.
Personally thinking it's looking like a virtual office/mailbox or empty commerical property is looking good. The only concern I have with the virtual office address is that it's probably already been blacklisted.
I'd like to hear your thoughts.
Cheers,
Steve
