Default How do you guys pay your ebay fees?

Do you wait for them to automatically debit your paypal acc or do you make a one time payment before they get a chance?

I'm kinda confused like when does ebay debit your acc? is there a specific day during the month? I haven't really been keeping track. Someone told me to take off paypal as my automatic payment method and then attach a visa giftcard and then make one time payments with your paypal acc but what if I forget to pay the fees before the deadline day and then ebay tries taking the fees from my visa giftcard and I dont have enough money to cover the fees cause I only keep 20 bucks in those giftcards. I dont wanna get suspended because of that.

Idk just how do you guys take care of your fees? =x

I make one time payments all the time. Few accounts, I actually use the pp but that's whatever - only if funds are available. I try on the most part to keep things flowing separately.

Nice thread by HWGA on this - why not to use pp to pay eb fees.

Its better to get yourself a pre paid card and between the time they invoice you and the time they will take the money its best to just add the prepaid card info and pay them..

Dont use the same prepaid card for multiple accounts

I use both p/p and prepaid cards depending on the account.

They give you about 10 days notice on fees. So if you have auto PP you can still pay one-time how you want. PP or card.

If I dont have auto PP they stop me listing when fees get to $200 and that's annoying. So I dont mind it linked. But when I get the invoice email I pay right away so its out of the way and if PP is light it wont matter

It can be an issue if you forget and the funds are not there. Then a bank withdraw from another name is rejected. All kinds of mess pops up. I have had this happen before. Had to fix the PayPal and eBay put me back on a 21 day hold for a few weeks.

I just make sure I pay and get it out of the way. Just to get it off the books

Yeah. I always try to leave money in there. But better to pay before hand I agree.
