Default Any benefit in creating accounts and allowing them to age without activity?

Just a quick quick question I guess...

Creating bank accounts appears to be the slowest part of stealth so is there any benefit in creating unvarified acounts in eB and PP but not actually using them for a while as I slowly gain accounts?

Perhaps they could be used for browsing etc but I tend to only browse the same things I'm interested in so would be a familiar pattern across accounts.

So does it help or just a case of won't do any harm?

If they are completely unused, never logged into etc until the moment comes to varify and set up selling, will that be a negative?

Sure, age to any account is good but as they sit you should be building up cheap buyer feedback as just jumping on an account that was created and dormant counts as a new one.

Bansheezone is correct. You are better off buying something, even a small something, on occasion. Maybe every 3-4 months or so. Then, make it a seller account and list ONE item and then let it sit for awhile.

The longer your account is in existance and has SOME ACTIVITY, the less suspicious it looks to eBay as it firts a normal user pattern.

I like aging accounts but always list a couple things here and there and usually bid and add items to watch list.

I have several account sitting right now and have a schedule to list a few things here and there.

I have several accounts more then 1 year old and a nice group of accounts over 2 years old or more.

I'm not sure I can answer your question, but I just tell you my situation.
I had an account 5 years back. Before selling, I never purchasde anything from Ebay (just Amazon), so my account stayed inactive for 5 years!
And my first selling items was Vero and there were no problem at all.
(perhaps my items were not very strict Vero, that's why nothing happened?)

@Bingo, perhaps - not strict Vero - a lot would depend on the risk assessment.
