Default What benefit to buy ebay buyer accounts?

I don't understand why people are buying ebay buyer account. Can anyone tell me the aim of buying it? Since I am thinking that it's very easy to sign up new buyer account if you are in UK.

Is their aim to change buyer account to seller account themself later?
Or it's useful because it's old account. Not just recently created account?

Why am I asking this? Because I am now in abroad and thinking if it's good idea to buy ebay buyer account and change it to seller account. Then let ebay know that I am now traveling abroad. Because I cannot sign up new ebay account due to I am abroad and my ip is not UK. Is it sound good to do? or still risk?

ps: in case I already have UK stealth paypal account.

Really? The main point of buying a buyer account is because you can control the activity and decide when to turn it to a seller account. Plays heavily into using your own time to build feedback and do what needs to be done with eb ay and pa yp al to solidify it.

So you think I shouldn't change buyer account to seller account immediately after I purchase it?

That's really up to how you operate with it. I make everything right away but I don't sell right away - other people transition to seller account later - either works.

The purpose of a buyer account is for people that just like to buy on ebay, maybe they got suspended for having too many unpaid item strikes and need another account, but don't know how to go about setting it up.

I don't understand why people buy items on ebay but don't pay for it? If you want it buy it and pay for it. If you dont want it just dont buy it or don't bid on it. Why just bid or buy without paying? for fun? If the person got many unpaid strikes, he/she should consider what he/she is doing. I really don't get it.

Anyway, sorry that I have to quote your and complaining on those who don't pay

They're probably just careless, my guess is they bid then search around and find something better or maybe they forgot how much money was in there paypal and didn't have enough to pay, who knows.
