Before deciding to hold payments, we consider many factors. These factors include account and transaction activity, the rate of customer disputes, the type of business a seller runs, average delivery timeframes, customer satisfaction, performance and history.
Did you read that part?

Dont see what the problem is anyway, Just send the item with tracking confirmation and once it is confirmed delivered wait 3 days and then send them an email and they will release it.

21 days became a fact, for ebay and none ebay payments, the good news is that you can easily avoid it, you just need so many experiments, read alot, and the most important thing is, you need to think like paypal, you need to know what they want and just give it to them, try to avoid red flag at all cost

I don't think it can be avoided but rather managed.

I used a variety of them for off ebay sales.

Most are 3 months old to 2 years old.

I actually sold several items off ebay when the 3 month old account was new and did not get a hold.

But, I have seen some reversals as well.

Should not be any holds on off ebay items on any account unless they see something they do not like.

I agree, the OP must have received lower amounts previous to this £300 deposit on his accounts for it to flag.

maybe if you send your payment as living expense, payment owed you wont get 21 day hold.

@token,

No guarantee.

If paypal wants to put funds on hold that's what they do.

Source of payment does factor in too for new-ish accounts.
