Default Shipment/21 day hold

Is there a way to get around this for new sellers selling on eBay?

This is not the hold where you can leave positive feedback and the money is released, I'm talking about the new seller hold.

No way around it really.

All you can do is provide prompt shipping with tracking numbers, and butter up your customers so they leave positive feedback.

Positive feedback, no claims and tracking numbers = reduced time. I have gotten them reduced a fair amount of the time.

To get rid of the 21 day hold, you need close to 20 detailed seller rating on eBay and PayPal; once you have that, you'll be able to sell without any holds whatsoever - however they maybe come back one day depending on the items you sell.

I was reading PayPal's policy agreement and it said that one must have at least 100 feedbacks in order for the 21 days limit to be lifted Is it true?

PayPal doesn't hold payments for eBay items if you meet the following:

You have been an eBay member for 6-months or more, and
Your total Feedback score is 100 or greater, and
Your Buyer dissatisfaction percentage** is less than 5%.

Or

Your average DSR is 4.5 or greater and
Your have received 20 or more DSRs in the last 12-months

Ok I guess I just answered my own question! I can't wait till I buy items and get over 100 feedbacks. I know they might catch me for feedback manipulation but it is still worth the try!

PP is not always steady with their own policy about removing the 21 day hold.

I had 1 ebay/pp account that had 21 day hold removed, The Ebay account only had less than 20 feedback, but it was 3 month old account.

Right now I have an Unlimited Selling Ebay account but it still has 21 day hold on it, go figure.
