I believe one MC019 is okay with a account, but if you get a second you get suspsened or restricted from selling, a 3rd MC019 you bann from ebay.

One MC019 is fine, its expires every 3-4 months I believe,
Your a powerseller, which mean you can get more copyright, vero violations strikes than a regular user without getting suspended so quicktly, but don't do. Powersellers people will trust you more when buying.
Is this a stealth ?

This is a stealth, so how many violations can I get before I get suspended indefinately being a powerseller?

Im letting the account sit now until July for it to go from the account as I don't really fancy another one. It will be removed from the account in July which it states.

Ebay requires specific policy compliance for PowerSellers on issues such as shill bidding (a practice designed to artificially drive up the price of an item), feedback manipulation and selling counterfeits or unauthorized copies.

Bronze PowerSellers may not have more than four policy violations in a 90-day period. Silver and Gold may not have more than five violations over the past 90 days, with Platinum limited to six violations and Titanium allowed a maximum of seven violations. Also, eBay can suspend a business' PowerSeller status for 180 days in some cases.

Your fine without worrying about another policy violations for a while if you want to use the account or not.

3 strikes for a normal seller.

Bronze: 4 violations in a 90-day period
Silver/Gold: 5 violations in a 90-day period
Platinum: 6 violations in a 90-day period
Titanium: 7 violations in a 90-day period

Strikes do drop off the seller's dash board.

That does not guarantee the account is 'safe'.

Cases are reported where ebay turned around 12 months down the line & suspended the account using the expired violation as part of the reason

I have only been restricted on normal accounts once I get 5 MC019 in a row. Aren't Powerseller accounts supposed to be more resilient than that?

In my experience it goes:

1) 1st Mc019
2) 2nd Mc019 gets a 7 day selling restriction.
3) 3rd one it's a 30 day selling restriction
4) Bye bye

Please note that this is eBay and it is quite common for steps 2) and 3) to get missed out and they go straight to 4).

Lots of factors determine the outcome of a policy violation and how many each account can take before getting axed.

Salient point too is that power sellers are not as immune as say 2 years ago.

In my experience, I get away with the first one, and then have to take a stupid 14/15 question questionnaire on the second or third. I then get away without any consequence until the fourth, which is when I get a 7 day selling restriction. On the fifth it is bye bye.

But I recall the stealth guide saying that powersellers could get up to 12?

I have received 12 violations on one account and been suspended 12 months 2 times. This was spread over several years though. I sell high volume Brand Name products on this account and I am constantly battling with counter notice claims, I keep very neat records for this account. I have all proof ready and lined up to fax when it happens. If you sell branded you need to be prepared.

My current compliance standard is HIGH. Also, the notices have dropped off pretty much to non-existant. I have fought same companies multiple times and I guess they just know me by now and I am legit.

Now I can sell anything, ipads, iphones, anything, apple, DVD's, phone cases, you name it. Its because Its legit....

However it was not an easy road and I did have to deal with suspensions. Even though cases reversed. I still did the time.

But now its paying off royal....

@pepsimax.

Difference is in the UK it's hard to file a MC019 rebuttal.
