Default 10 Year Ebay ac now reinstated to sell, but paypal is down.....open a new paypal ac?

My 10 year old ebay seller account that was restricted from selling for around 6 months..........ebay have now removed the seller restriction so I am good to sell on this ebay account BUT paypal have indef suspended the paypal account linked to this ebay account - anyway i can appeal this?

i got in touch with live chat with paypal and they say its linked to some previous paypal account at my address - i was on ebay in the 1990's using but those accounts are down and never used.

my 10 year old ebay has thousands of feedback which is invaluable and would make selling again easier -

i have opened a new paypal all verfied except for lifting the £1200 limit at a different address, my details still....dob changed.........question

if i change the address details on my 10 year old ebay account to match the paypal at the new address, would i be safe to use that paypal to sell on my 10 year old account without it going down?

the old ebay account has got the seller restrictions removed so good to go, question i was asking is can i use a new paypal at a different address with the same name......as the 10 year old ebay seller account and use it to sell again?

i'm sure ebay/ppal will allow it to go through, i can just say that i moved house to explain why i am using the new paypal address?

If you are sure then I don't see what you have to lose. The account is useless without a Paypal account on no matter how many feedback it has.

It's not cut and dried because of past linking but if you don't do it you're not going to use that Ebay account.

If you do it go very slowly for the first few months

This is novel. lucy still flogging the old account.

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/subscri...format-pc.html

Chances are not going to be good.

I vote no.

your track record is not the best.

ebay account has been flogged & flagged.

fiddling with paypal is risky

Lucy - for the amount of time you have been around the forum why do you keep doing risky things?

stealth can be so straight forward....

wouldnt we all be so happy :D

Have you appealed the suspension? If you have and its denied then you can forget it.
Personally i wouldn't waste my time with that paypal account.

Why dont you get a NEW address and setup a new paypal and ebay account account?

OR

You could try changing the address on your current ebay account and then create a paypal account with the same address.
But like GB says, because your current ebay account has been flagged, it will probably not last very long.
So there is no point selling on it if you are wanting it for a long term business or seller account.
