Trouble linking second account

Just trying to lift limits on a second e b account by linking my main account , but When I enter username postcode and phone number it says check your details ?

I know the details are correct

Anyone shead any light ?

No mate it's legit main account has no limits , second account has 20 items/650 limits , but it wont do it , says the info is wrong but I know it's correct

What it is , I opened a second eb account linked to my main pp , when I opened it was ltd 20/650 I reached 20 items the other day and it says apply for higher selling limits click on that , it gives you options add ppl , create pp , or if you using another account to sell from click here , I do this then it says add user name , add phone number , add postcode , I do this and it comes up check details but I know these details are correct

Not sure am doing the right thing anyway because main eb account has no limits and im afraid that by adding this account it may split whatever the limit is (if its 100 items) between the 2 accounts

I could be wrong but I do not think you can lift limits on a secondary EB A/C by trying to link it to a main EB/PP A/C AFTER the limits have been exceeded on that EB A/C.

The addition of a secondary EB A/C to your main EB/PP A/C is a different process to raising/applying for higher selling limits for the main EB/PP A/C.

EDIT:

I am assuming the new EB A/C details cross match with those on the main EB/PP A/C.

Sorry let me start again

I have main eb acc , had since 2009 sold loads on it , opened a second eb account in September last year linked to same pp all details the same as main acc apart from email address , left it to mature for a while bought some stuff on it got some fb sold some stuff on it a few times no problems , just reached selling limit for this month which is no problem , but to increase the selling limits its asking me for the details of my other seller acc , I input the details and it comes up with a red lettered message saying check your details they are not stored on our system cant understand it because I know the details are correct

This might sound silly but have you spoken to EB via EB chat about this ??? & PP via your PP A/C ???

Think that maybe my next port of call , I don't really need to lift the limits I can manage with them but it was an experiment to see if I could do 100 items on each account , my main account has no limits , but reading the forum it would seem the most you can sell on any private acc is 100 items , I have gone over 100 a few times so not sure

anyway thanks for the help may try to live chat them tomorrow

just don't want to risk them spreading a limit over the 2 accounts

I would have engaged eb live chat &/or PP the first time around if I received the 'your details they are not stored on our system' message.

Will do , may hang fire for now though as I have no mature back ups may wait until July and see what the limit is then , will be listing some stuff on main acc next week its had a good enough rest then have a look at acc2 in July
