Default Used banned IP by mistake

I accidentally opened a new eB account using the ip address of my suspended account. I found my mistake before I opened a PP account. Should I abandon the eB account (stealth address and new email account)? I have checked the email account associated with this new eB account and no suspension emails from eB. Thankfully, I didn't waste a bank account on my stupid mistake. Ugh!

On another note ~ can I open eB accounts without immediately opening PP accounts so the eB accounts can sit and age?

Thanks!

I would let it ride, change the IP and keep going and see if it's ok.

Yes you can but make sure you use different users and keep track of the Ips.

When I set up this new eB account I did it in a new user account I created for this eB identity. I have now set the home page as "IPBurger" for all of the new user accounts I create so hopefully I won't make this IP mistake again.

GOOD. The old IP may be bothersome but not the end of issues - get new IP going and work with the account . All the best.

Is it okay to set up eB accounts without immediately setting up a PP account and linking the two? Can I wait a few weeks before setting up a PP account for each eB account I create?

Sure - have done this ...though it's kind of pointless if you look at things from LONG TERM...what would you use your eb account for? just browsing? how would you pay...other means than pp? Think about it.

I'm opening several (3 to 7) eB accounts within the next couple of weeks so I can eventually start selling on all of these accounts. I will use one of the accounts for purchases (envelopes, labels, etc.) because I will have access to mail at this address but not at any of the other accounts I create.

I'm going to add PP accounts to all of the new eB accounts I create but I didn't know if it was an issue to open an eB account and then let it age 15-45 days before adding/linking PP accounts. I don't want to cause any flags at either eB or PP for any of these accounts by not immediately opening PP accounts.

Thanks!

There is no risk and as far as I'm aware there isn't any advantage in waiting to link the pp, So you might as well link your pp right away.

Now, how fast do you convert to a seller and then how fast do you sell on a new account? That is more of an open debate. Some go right away, some wait for buyer history, while others let them age first.

I link my PP straight away and as for selling just start slowly like a newbie, bid on items that you know that you are not going to win. Ask silly questions from buyers like can I collect, make offers.

At the same time start selling slowly and do a bit of browsing.

Do this for about 2 months and you should be ok
