Default Collecting Limited Funds After 180 Days

My 180 days have well passed now and i still cannot withdraw. I emailed paypal and got a automated response that didnt help at all. The email said if it didnt help i should reply directly to that email and explain the situation.

So i replied to the email 3 days ago and i have still not heard anything back. Is this normal for paypal not to release funds?

Should i be able to withdraw funds to the same bank account or do i need a new bank account for withdrawing?

This is what is something along the lines of what happens....

paypal UK send out the email that funds are available for release because the 180 days as passed.
They kindly add email if there is a problem.

Despite being sent emails no replies happen. It appears these emails go to a different section of paypal. Everything is delayed.

If the old bank account is still attached, then the funds should transfer.
Sadly you might have to call & speak to a supervisor for resolution. Repeating the sending of emails will be futile.

I have not received an email telling me they are available but i have counted the days myself and its over 180 i believe.

If i ring them i imagine its not as tense as when you ring to have limits increased?

Yes normally they send an email after 180 days, this might be a good idea to ring them, maybe they will release the money sooner in the eventuality you haven't counted accurately.

All the best of luck to you.

That's different then.

Firstly you should only be expecting the release IF you got a email to say the account was permanently limited.

Your quoted post explains why you got no response.... paypal may not yet have started the funds release. Phone them then

Alright....

Word of advice.

Left hand of paypal may not know what the right hand of paypal is doing. Be prepared that this might have glitches B4 full resolution. (that is release of your funds)

With paypal i always expect something. As long as i receive the funds in the not to far distant future i can handle it.

A stupid question this could be but after 180 days hold can you withdraw to your CC (the one you used and withdrew before account got limited) or only bank accounts ?
