Default 24 hrs to unlimit account? Normal PP?

So I managed to sort out my account..long story.
As you know I got limited on a verified account for recieving more than £1650 per year..
I rang PP after uploading the documents..and they told me they'd been accepted..and my account was now going to be unlimited as it was in a 'queue to be unlimited' and I'll recieve an email to confirm in the next 24 hours..is this normal?
Surely they should just unlimit it straight away right??
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

No, not always. Nothing is ever certain with p/p despite what they say to you on the phone.

Curve balls have been known to be thrown depending on who is actually looking at your account and whether they decide to do an in depth review at the same as the docs.

Just wait.

You will never push p/p any faster than they are willing to go. If you push them too hard it can sometimes backfire on you.

Patience is a virtue

i uploaded the documents and got a email from them within hours of uploading the documents. I cant imagine they would say yeah thats fine and but a reply email will take time to get to you .

might be right this time of year but i would imagine they would have a automated email service that would do that .

just hold off and be patient .

Told ya! Curve ball!

Always expect the unexpected where p/p are concerned.

Word for the wise..... in future make sure your docs/invoices etc are 100%

Now you know why you got told what to do and what NOT to do.

Hard lesson to learn, Grasshopper.

There's a protocol for dealing with paypal & ebay.

To succeed you must follow it.

There are no protocols in dealing with PayPal. PayPal is a shady company, built upon lies and deceit. The only way to avoid Paypal issues is not to use them at all but it's almost impossible if you want to sell on ebay.

As GB says a hard lesson to learn from.

You need to go over this account and find out what the problems were.

Was it the docs or something else about the account info that led to it being permanently limited.

You need to analyze everything now and find out where you went wrong because that's where the real problem is, with your process, not p/p's

If you continue to make the same mistake then any further accounts you create run the same risk.
