Wrong bank account question

Hi, heres the story transferred money to a wrong bank account.

money hasn't been returned so im assuming the account is a working account.

Its been 2 weeks, 14 days i contacted paypal they told me they can reverse the payment but it will take 2 weeks. Is this true?

Has anybody heard about that? They said they can reverse the payment they sent to that bank but it will take 2 weeks.

are they just telling me what i wanna here? or its real? (p.s i search around and couldn't find that answer)

Two weeks is possible.

However paypal are not taking into account what the bank(s) will do to return the funds.

Banks take much longer to return funds that have gone into an incorrect account.
