You ask about an ebay veteran from 2001??????????????

He has long brought his rights to sell without being slammed by paypal.

I bought an item off a seller in California that sells into the thousands every single day.

When I looked at the join date in was 1997.

If the account is original and his real info no reason to ever be shut down unless he brokes some rules.

If he followed all the rules, is legit and did everything right he deserves not to be shut down.

He probably paid his dues and has been hit by them at one time and sent info in.

I have my original account and when I got hit with some info request a while back I have never had an issue and dont expect one either.

I dont take risk with it and dont sell risky items.

Well what he is selling are what paypal considers high risk items. Man $500 per iphone and he sells 1000+. Most likely he has a confirmed supplier?

It is the MAN himself.

He runs a large business account.

He's not small potatoes.

He's the MAN that ebay likes.

Ebay is getting rid of the mom pops seller from home. It is probably too much liability for them.

Either you are a casual seller selling junk from your house (and perfectly happy with small limits), or you are a professional business running a warehouse and with a large reserve ($50K) in paypal.

If you are the small seller in the middle, you get tons of scrutiny and the immediate boot at the blink of a bot's eye.

Again, its probably his original account, he has been a member for a long time and has built trust with eb and pp.

Many 1995-2000 sellers sell like this and even more and have never been touched.

You have a lot to learn. EB started in 1995. It's now 2013. All of your questions and comparisons are completely irrelevant. BTW, if you were selling millions of dollars worth of products, I also highly doubt you'd be playing around on st.eal.th forums.

I actually have my hands on an in laws 1996 account with 700 or so buyer feedback.

Recently had a stroke and when we went to the house to get some items to take to the hospital a post it note was on a hand written doc Save for Sandy D I know how much she likes ebay.

Sweet, to know you are not feeling well and had several things with notes all over it telling us what to do with each specific thing.

Was tough to see it knowing they did not think they were going to make it.

So far, not great but better.

I have my original 90's account still. Thought it was a goner until I learned here that I had never applied the SSN so I was able to get it back after settling the issues with an idiot buyer who threatened to come to our house and hurt people so the DH sent a message back, not to worry, I will be on your doorstep soon with shot gun because you are not going to threaten my family. Guess it pays to print and file things like emails with threats etc. It saved my account to have it to show eb and he of course is a goner now.

What comes around goes around.
