I have one section I clean house on because most people have no clue as to the maker because this company almost never marked their 1930-50s items.

Super rare stuff if you can find the odd ball color, style etc.

Knowledge is money in the antiques and collectibles world. Since boomers are hitting retirement in record number I am seeing far more goodies being sold lately on ebay, at auctions, yard sales etc.

Grabbing things off ebay that someone does not know who made it or the value is a real money maker for me.

I can be listing items to sell on one computer and have ebay up looking on another one for goodies to grab.

Add in years of experience in that area of your knowledge and its a killer combo.

Everyone has some knowledge of some area unless they are a couch potato and only know whats on TV.

I grew up in a sports crazy home with lots of boys so I know sports as well as most men and buy and sell hats, jerseys, autographs, boxes of cards when I can find them etc.

Cool way of keeping an eye on items Slim.

Everyone can do this, I taught a friend how to do this in the vintage jewelry section and she tells me she sits at home, buys wrongly listed older jewelry, has it delivered to her home, resells and make no less then 1000k profit a month extra as a hobby doing this snipping of wrongly listed items.

Very interesting thread. I had no idea the lengths paypal goes, I have to respect their efforts, unfortunately I can not respect their tactics.

Bet your cell is ringing all day long.

If I had that I would not get anything else done.

I snipe tons of stuff in the late night hours or early morning.

Love it when someone post a bin at 3 am for no one to see but me!!!

They can resell anywhere - there is profit to be made in all markets
