Question Choice of cards

Why do people use vanilla giftcards? Greendot is 100 times better i use it for everything and they are 10$ cheaper...Sometimes while on sale even 15$... So can someone clarify this?

also VCC's SUCK don't use them. prepaid cards are a million times better and greendot can verify addresses too.

Greendot has been known to cause limitation of pp accounts - read other posts and a recent long post by Sandy_D.

Vanilla GCs are less problematic.

Agree on VCCs in general but they do work.

I'm actually having trouble registering a new account with my vanilla visa giftcard right now. Did they make it so you can't use them anymore? Someone please help.

Amazon seller account, it's giving me this message when I try to register with the credit card. I already filled out the zip code information on the vanilla visa website.

Has anyone else gotten this yet? When I click "for more information" it directs me to a popup that say "prepaid visas and gift cards are not accepted" and "we will ask your bank if we can make a $4 withdraw for verification."

I personally have made many other amazon accounts with a Vanilla Visa and this is the first time ever having this occur.

It's called a vanilla visa, I bought it at CVS pharmacy. The expiration date is 6/21.
