Default Will my plan work out as I'm hoping?

1. Purchase 3 separate VPS servers.

2. Create a new stealth name, address, email, paypal, ebay, and add a VCC to each account.

3. Sell maybe 10-20 phone cases / screen protectors per month on each account for positive feedback & DSR.

4. Hopefully get 100/£3,500 limits after 3 months (90 days) selling with a (hopefully) perfect seller rating.

5. Add and confirm 3 separate bank accounts

6. Be able to list my 'real' product (about £325) and be able to withdraw without being limit etc.

The only concern I have is jumping from low cost sales to high cost sales. Should this be an issue?

Is 90 days is a sort of milestone for seller accounts?

Will my funds get held and I have to provide ID, even after 90 days of positive trading?

Should I list as business or private? I'm not a business so don't have business invoices etc to provide.

Do you have to sell to your limits to get upgraded?

Any info or past experiences would be very helpful

Thanks

Sounds like you got it. I don't think it's the price of the items you sell but rather the type or category that spooks eBay. I've been hassled for $1.99 items as much as $300 items.

Looks good for setup. Slow transition to higher sales...e.g. 1 sale per week then 2 then 5 then etc.

All the best

Your choice & money. Cheaper options exist. Is the IP range going to be different enough to look like 3 stealth people

Be careful of the quality of the items. Word your listings well.

Not a given at all. Should have a contingency plan.

Should be Step 3 rather than step 5. Ideally go in selling with a verified & confirmed paypal. Looks good for trust.

May be an issue. Consider adding something with in between value. Increase amount of sales slowly too. That's when you go to the higher priced items.

More or less. Who knows in three months. Always a chance of taking longer. Nothing is absolute.

Funds could get held for any amount. ID can be needed for any amount.

Rubbish. You are buying items. You would have receipts or invoices.

Certainly one of the better ways to get limits lifted. You need to show ebay you are a good seller. Selling to the limits does that.

Couple of comments are these. ebay/paypal often ask for invoices. By virtue of selling with them, there is a need to have them. ebay/paypal do not have strangers as sellers. High chance of being asked for ID. You must consider that.

Have these items been sold before on ebay? Are you taking steps to ensure your images, listings are new & not linkable. Will you be able to ensure no link between the 3 accounts?

Lastly, have you considered the £1900 money laundering limits? If your items are £325 a unit, sell 5 and you are at your limit.(That's including your sales of phone case as a cumulative total). You need ID to lift that.

Ooverall the plan needs a little refining.
Good Work otherwise.

Thanks for the constructive criticism, just the reply I was looking for.

Regarding me assuming I'll get higher limits after 90 days, as you say it may take longer. I'm ok with that (not much I can do about it actually )

The only real major problem will be providing ID & invoices which I am sure they will ask for. How do you get around that?

As for the £1,900 anti laundering limit ... I had forgot about that. That will also be a big pain.

I have an idea but I'm not sure how to do it properly.

Thanks in advance

Prepare in advance to have whatever ebay/paypal want.

Simple preparation. Start from the moment the accounts are made.
