Default Setting up bank account with stealth account

Hi! So I've read the guide and I've been having a look around on the forums but I've still got a few things I'm not sure about. I've got one sort of stealth account at the moment (partner's real information, friend's real address) but I've got a selling limit still of 600/£3000. Last time I rang up to get the selling limit up the account was limited because of certain items I was selling. Sent in some supplier invoices, account no longer limited.

Anyway, I was just wondering about the limit going up of it's own accord with age - is that likely to happen? It hasn't this month, I'm happy to leave it alone as I don't want to have an awkward phone call with Ebay again and mess things up again but it'd be great if it did go up.

Which brings me to my original question. If I was to set up a stealth account in my name, a variation of it, a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, whatever, using a dongle, new bank account - is an address 80 miles away too risky? If so, does it definitely have to be a real address? I've already used two accounts of friends with the one I've got (had to change it as original friend wanted to use Ebay) and my current address I've been banned at. I don't know that many people around this area so I'm running out of legitimate addresses that I could actually use to set a new account up.

Sorry if I've asked anything that's already been covered in the book or on here, it's just not all going in! Thanks for any help or advice

Hiya, it has to be a real address yes and recognised by Royal Mail, 80 miles away is fine, I stay in Glasgow and have a Stealth in Leeds with up to now no problems! Fingers crossed!

I asked the same questions myself and everyone said that sort of distance is ok.

Thanks that's sorted then, think I can get a couple set up then no problems. Just wish I could get the selling limit up on my original account too!

Default Best UK bank account for stealth?

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on the best UK bank account to use with a stealth account. I've read mixed things about Santander who I've already got a bank account with, it's not linked to any Ebay or PP accounts so it would have been ideal.

My credit rating's diabolical so to be honest I'll probably struggle getting certain accounts with certain banks, the one I got with Santander is a non-overdraft account. I've got an address ready to use, I just need to find a bank that's not funny about withdrawals from different names!

Thank you!

Santander is perfect for stealth. I've been using a Santander account for 3 years without issue.

That sounds good, thanks. Might sound a silly question but is your Ebay/PP in a stealth name? I was going to use my real first name and either a made up surname or my partner's surname or something.
