Activity: 0% Longevity: 84% | | Tricks to getting initial higher seller limits..
what are the tricks chaps?
all my new accounts have the 25 item limit.
are there any tricks to get higher on new accounts? 100 would be fine to be honest spread over a few accounts, but 25 over a few is just not enough.
i do not have the time to make tens of accounts.
are there any tricks on the address, name? or even making the pp first then ebay? is there a good method to this madness?
how many accounts do you chaps run at once?
please shed some light, cheers all

There aren't really any 'tricks' I've come across.
Best thing to do to increase is to operate the account properly, postage quickly, describe items well etc to get good DSR's & sell to the limit each month.

Agree with imakes, there is no secret method to get high initial selling limits.

Only trick is to wait, and make sure you sell to your limits each month. If you need to sell more, create more stealths.

Varies.
I've had two limit increases on accounts that have been sold on for just 1 month.
Both accounts from 25/750 to 80/£2200. Not bad for 1 month's selling. The key is to have good DSRs and no buyer issues.

Limits are reset on the 1st of the month, things like TSR are reviewed on the 20th, but the limits themselves can be raised at almost any time, I have noticed its generally at the start of a new month though, at least for any of my new stealth accounts.

In order to increase your allowance from 25 to 100 sell off about 15 items very cheap, with which you should receive at least 10 feedback. As soon as you receive 10 FB even if it is within 15 days of opening your account you will be able to increase your limit to 100.
Trick: Inform them that you sell low value items which will allow them to increase the number of items in your allowance. You can exceed the value of your allowance (sometimes) but never the number of items.
I have increased my selling limit from 25 to 250 after 30 days using this method. 10 FB, 100 FB, 250 FB are crucial benchmarks for increasing selling allowance.

Do you phone eBay to increase the limits or are you saying these increases have been happening automatically with the sales and feedback left for you from buyers?
Additionally do these increases automatically happen on the 1st on the month?
I am increasingly looking forward to the 1st June to see if any of my accounts have increase sales limits.
10 FB within 15 days of new account, and you can increase sale limit to 100...are you sure?
cheers

Yes, I phoned eBay to increase the limits. If you get an advisor who doesn't reallly know what they are doing then you can convince them to increase it as much as possible. It does not always work though. It has worked on 3 occasions out of 7.
Sometimes they tell me that I need to wait until the beginning of the month and at other times they give me a monthly date on which I can request an increase in my allowance.
I increased my allowance to 100 by:
- selling 20 items in 15 days
- receiving 10 FB with DSRs
- sending items via 1st class instead of 2nd class as listed
- fully verifying my eBay and PP account with all limits lifted
- calling eBay and telling them that I am selling a product which can only be sold in 15 different colours and 4 types (60 in total)
- telling them that the value of each product is £2. This allowed them to increase the selling allowance quantity and bring down the value
- I left them with no alternative and I wasn't too pushy. I spoke to them asking for advice rather than demanding an increase in selling limits.
Hope this helps. Please let me know how you get on.

| 4 times of being unlucky meant that account got 'checked' for no reason.
Not the wisest stealth move. |

There is only trick though that really goes under the ebays radar, and that to change the Category of the item to something not relevant to your item you sell.
This method it has only been test it when you relist the same item and ola... hope that helps |

The last thing you need is Drawing unwanted attention t the account!

If I need more accounts, I make them...If I want too I can make 20-30 accounts in 1 day! Phone Verified, CC Verified, AND if I wait 3 days I can have it VBA verified!
Stealth is about making sure you take the right steps in NOT getting caught. Proceed with caution.

If you verify your address with eBay and they send a pin number in the post you should get 100 and £3500
