getting a MC999 restrict back???

I have another ebay acct for 3 weeks now and i started to list some items 2 per/day for two days and on the 3 day i got a "MC999 selling limits have changed on your ebay account" message. They are not Vero items


After reviewing your account, we've made the decision to restrict your ability to sell until you provide us with additional information. Some or all of your listing have been removed.

There are 2 ways you can provide the additional information --through My ebay or next time you sell.

To start the process through My ebay:
1. Cleck "My ebay" at the top most eBay pages. You may need to sign in.
2. Click "My ebay" at the top pf most ebay pages. You may need to sign in.
3. Selec the "all selling" option ....ect...ect...ect..
4. Click the "Request higher selling limits" link in the monthly selling limits section.


What should I do to get my selling account back?? Any advice would greatly appreciated.

Follow the instructions, if your account may not be verified, put on your Stealth Hat and call them. It has happened to people on this forum.

I would actually call in the evening (after 6pm PST). This is when I have the most success getting my account fixed without problems. I would not start off with the option they listed for you. I would call them through Customer Service with the one-time passcode, and select something close to why you are calling, but not that exact reason that they gave you in the message. Odds are is they will transfer to the same dept anyway, but that may increase your chances. Remember to be entertaining...playing dumb and attempts at being funny usually work! And apologize a lot so they feel like you are weak minded, makes the other party feel empowered/superior!
