Damm Right they will,,,,That is Why I always tell People to Make Their Stealth Accounts in your same area,,,For those reasons and More,,IP,,,Returns,,ect, ect,, |
| First Edition | 09-22-2010 12:31 PM | There are a ton of ways around it...
but, if you have an LA account, why not get an LA virtual number? You've got to use your heard with some things. The limitation department picks up on things like that..... however, fax? ha, yeah right... I always upload a jpeg. |

| Well I'm dying to hear several. :D I also need to know for my own sake as I may be doing business with you guys in the near future, but I would rather have and open discussion about pros and cons to get other opinions and viewpoints rather than PM someone and get a potentially lop-sided opinion. |
| First Edition | 09-25-2010 01:43 PM | The phone number won't get you shut down...... |

Some information should not be posted in a open forum.
I am sure you can understand this...... |

I am sure you can understand this...... | True, but I figure since we're in the subscribers...
I for one think using info that's not in your general area is asking for trouble. FE says it's okay, slapped agrees with me. It's a debate now lol
FE says one thing, the book says another. If he wants to PM me about it fine, but this should be common knowledge. IMO
The book says not to make an account outside of 30 miles (or something to that effect) from your location. FE says it's OK to make accounts in different states lol...
Of course some things have changed since the last book, but this makes no sense to me. I need clarification not just from FE, but others as well. |
| lakeman | 09-25-2010 03:11 PM | I have to agree with First Edition. I make accounts all over the US without problems. IP location doesn't matter, there are a few threads that discussed this and it was said ip location doesn't matter.
People move, people go on vacation. Can't remember who, but someone has an ISP, that shows they are 300+ miles from their real location and they haven't had any problems either. |
| Here We Go Again | 09-25-2010 03:38 PM | I use account data from all over the US.
The IP's that I use for eBay are over 500 miles from my real location. - IDK - First Edition - Lakeman -
If you guys want to talk openly about then then please start a thread in the Executive [VIP] Area.
It is a bit more secure than rest of the forum. |
