I just checked one of my other accounts and I don't see any limits but it lets me post items to sell. So I don't know.

Just requires me to type in the code I get by TEXT for the first item posted to make sure I am real I guess.

I figured out what the problem is for you guys.

IF you look on page 1 and 2. You will notice 2 things. USA AND CANADIAN FLAGS! I don't see anyone else from outside of the US or Canada having this problem (for now). It must be a new thing for North America with the pattern I noticed. It's probably a new security feature from now on to filter stealth accounts but with due time you guys will figure out the system and work around the loop for it.

And also the last post before mind just proved it.

Because I have one US account that's over 10 years old and at times when I call in about something they ask me questions about credit history such as what company names I had registered or cars in the past. They never do this with my European accounts even my main European account. So looks like they got the system for USA/CANADA because in Europe you have to many small countries and it's not as open as it is in the states. You guys are pretty much F'ed until you find a way around this new system.

Be careful about the amount of times you call GWW...get a wrong agent and you are asking for trouble...just saying

Real account real info all verified over 10 years ago.

I only got on this site because I was selling feedback to up my ranking on ebay then got 30 days MC999 for it. Since then no problems but dup listings are my only problem. And got 36 stealths but only around 20 running.

And only 1 is US account (with my real SNN)the rest are European accounts without the limits or bs that come with a US Account of SSN, and all the other junk that comes with it. GOD BLESS AMERICA! :amen:=}

Yeah. And it helps to have 100% feedback rating with TRS, & Powerseller on the account. :)

I have same issue. Made 10 accounts. Got 6 accts limit 0/00. So confused

As aspkin suggested, perhaps use a different ISP during account creation?? I'll have to give it a shot

MM, agreed that there might be a precautionary step somewhere that we are missing, but this is something ebay definitely changed up. I haven't had this issue before and I have 40+ stealth accounts. And with so many people reporting the same thing, it would be quite a coincidence for us all to be doing the same thing wrong within the same timeframe to all be reporting the same issue.

All my accounts are made using completely new IPs maybe it could be the VBA or GV #? Ill try to make a couple with text+ instead.

Google Voice has been reported with this issue as well.. it's numbers are heavily recycled... so use at your own risk.

Yeah I make them with new IPs as well, but making them under a completely new ISP might help. Maybe it's the IP range?? For example, I use verizon hotspot, all my IPs are different but the first 5 numbers in the IP are the same. Maybe this causes it?

Good luck with text+. I have tried GV, text+, send hub, tracphone, all got this 0/0. Let us know.

Thats interesting, I am using the Verizon 4G hotspot as well. All my GV accounts in the past have run flawlessly, never had a problem and never even been contacted by eBay or PP through the GV #. IP range might be it?

Normally I use my Verizon 3G Mifi but for the last 5 accounts made in the past 24hrs I used my AT&T Phone (3G) tethering.

Having the same 0/$0 issue also.

I use AOL dialup and get a new IP every time.
Real address but not mine
Google Voice forwarding
Real CC attached to address
EIN for PP
PP verified before added to ebay
Still get the 0/$0

(I hate the new PP layout BTW)

I have attempted to sell lame item on each account.
Nothing big or VEROable
Just a regular everyday item priced around $8-$10
Still get 0/$0

It might be something very new or you are using a good amount of VCC to verify it all. Not to mention, good set of numbers or nothing that has been flagged. But others are having this 0/0. Seems to be something very new.

Does AOL dialup give you totally different IPs? Or are they in a similar range (i.e. first 4 or 5 numbers are always the same)?

It depends on the dial-in number utilized.. if he uses a different dial-in number per account.. he 'should' receive a different IP range.. SHOULD..

VPS is the best way to go. New Fresh IP (datacenter) etc.

For those of you who are getting 0/$0, please try and call eBay about it. You have nothing to lose and they most likely will shed some slight information on why it is happening.

I did (check out page 3). Basically they asked about the address I had (real address but not mine) they couldn't verify I lived there, asked for a past address, gave them a different one and they couldn't verify that one either. They then asked for docs to be sent in. And that is where that account stands right now.

Just a thought, but what if start buying stuff before createing a sellers account?
i've waited a week before trying to create a sellers, but it still happens, Maybe waiting a Month with buyer activity THEN trying to create a sellers account??

Did you use your 3G mifi to make these new accounts? How much in to the PP verify process are you going VBA and CC, just CC?

Last Night I made 5 accounts using my Mifi.....Today I made another 5 using my Phone Tethering.
I only Lift the $500 limit, I don't add VBA. 8 accounts are at 10/1,000, 2 are at 30/$3,000.

TODAY, I do like MM78 said below but STILL GOT 0/0 for 5 accts

Here is how I make my accounts:
1. Get all the Info (Name, Address)
2. Get my Phone Ready
3. Have the CC/VCC/Gift Card Read
4. Open an Ebay Sellers Account Directly
5. Verify Ebay Phone (4 digit Code)
6. During the same Process.....Ebay will direct me to Paypal
7. Enter CC/VCC/Gift Card Info into Paypal
8. Return to Ebay Automatically
9. Go back to Paypal and finish verifying Paypal (Email, $500 Withdraw Limit, Add VBA)

Maybe someone else was using that set of IP's on a VPS and they started to update their systems for everything to filter out stealthers?

Or they did a huge HUGE MAJOR update and flagged VCC, IP's, Phone number. etc.
