| Ayusaga | 03-23-2015 03:16 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now You can list an item on ebay without even making a paypal account. When the item is listed and you see your limits, then you make your paypal account and add things to it like credit cards, banks, etc. Don't add EINs to your stealth accounts unless paypal asks for them. And when I say, "when they ask," I mean when they pretty much DEMAND that you add your EIN. |
| jdmswagserf | 03-27-2015 02:40 AM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now the ebay and pp accounts have not yet been verified, but will be verified before anything is posted on them, these accounts are still aging while sitting here right?
And the accounts say nothing about limits, will limits appear when the accounts get a listing?
or if it doesn't say anything does the account have a 0/0?
it doesn't say anything right now NOT 0/0 OR 10/100, NOTHING. |
| slokor | 03-27-2015 02:46 AM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now The limits are there even if you cannot see them. And no - listing one item will not cause them to appear.
If you call in and ask they will tell you what those limits are.
Ive done so on several such accounts - a few were 5/500 and one was actually 1000/25k. No way to know until you call in really. |

| slokor | 03-27-2015 03:39 AM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now Correct.
And keep it simple. Just tell them you wish to start selling and you were doing your research and that youre aware there should be some sort of limits and you cannot find them anywhere and if they can tell you what those are so you can plan ahead. They like those words - planning ahead. |

They like those words - planning ahead. | When one calls them, or in UK uses chat to contact them, and mentions the limits and how one needs it for planning etc. Could it lead the conversation in a direction where you can ask eBay for higher limits, if they say that the limits are either 5 or 10 items? Maybe if you get lucky with the person on the other end? |
| aking | 04-01-2015 02:43 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now I hear people complaining about the 5/500 accounts, I actually LOVE these. All my 5/500 accounts end up with higher limits than the 10/1000. For some reason these get mulitple selling limit increases, I've got one thats already at 100/10,000 after only about 3 months of being alive and barely any sales. |

I will report back to this thread when I've sold for 3 months and see if any of them have had their limits raised and if what my new limits are.
The fact that you manage to get 5/500 accounts going with great results is encouraging stuff, thanks for the info :)

| aking | 04-01-2015 03:36 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now Yea and for some reason my 10/1000 are still at 10/1000 after like 6 months. The status is "above average" rating so I'm not sure why I haven't gotten increases. It's not a major deal bc I have many others I can sell on but I don't know what it is about these 10/1000 accounts. They seem to be pretty static...
I kid you not I wish I got more 5/500 accounts than 10/1000. |
| Haidukken | 04-02-2015 02:06 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now In terms of listings at the beginning, at what point does one list to the limit and over? I read somewhere that it's possible to list OVER the limit and the result is that they bump the limit up a bit?
Any advice is appreciated. I've got 6-15 feedbacks already, all good and positive. I just wonder should I perhaps list over the limit to force the bump? |
| itylerh | 04-03-2015 03:44 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now Anyone having the 0/0 limit placed on their Ebay account shortly after attempting to sell their first item? I created a stealth account and linked it to another stealth verified PayPal, the Ebay originally had a 5/500 limit but as soon as I went to list my first item the limit decreased to 0/0. I called them and they said they had to do the info check, the fact that I used a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address I already knew it would not end well, but when they tried to pull up my name and address in their system nothing showed up so they told me that I would have to give them any other address that I have lived at. Just curious if anyone else on here is experiencing this problem recently and how to get around it. Thank you in advance for any responses. |

One rep told me I needed to add a bank account to my attached PayPal to verify my identity. |
| Drecn | 04-14-2015 11:37 AM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now yea ....this happens to me alot cuz im new .........so i do call in and yes sir it is up to the representative....lately it has been no on two accounts but in the same breath i got one approved for 25 to 1500 so it was cool on that one but from now on i am trying to mess with the ones i think are from another country....... but at the same time know that they are recording your calls in their information log....so each time you call in they not only type it in but i think the bots (algorithm) are made aware that you called in ....because i called a few times and not because i hung up (it was an internet burner so i got cut off) but i received 25 to 2500 but a day or a few hours after i got the raise it was cut off....of course if it is 0 to 0 ....you will have nothing to lose.... |

| livelifewild | 07-01-2015 06:00 PM | Re: 0/0 limits on new accounts nonstop now Hi there havent been on the thread in awhile but I figured I would chime in.
If you get 0/0 shortly after selling it means you need to call in. They want to verify who you are over the phone. Now I usually have a 1 in 3 chance when I call of getting the 0 limit lifted. So I usually do not bother. It takes about an hour to go thru the whole thing and to call 3 to save 1 I can make 3 new ones in that time.
It just means you have to get more solid stealth information together before opening an account.
Some say that having a bank hooked to paypal and verified is the trick but to this day I can open a brand new account list that very day and not have to call in and not have a verified paypal with no bank. So it may just be a matter of tweeking the way you gather info and make the accounts. |

| You're not very good on the phone if you have to call 3 times and spend an hour lifting the limits. I have a 85% success rate and it takes only 5-8 minutes per call. At the end, I get limits between 5 and 50 items per month, the most common limits being 15 and 25. Quote:

| It comes down to the phone # you use. Google Voice = Kiss of death. But using Google Voice specifically to get 0/0 is a great tactic, because then you get higher initial limits after the call. |

I've gotten 0/0 to as high as 50, and I get 50 about 20% of the time. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:10 PM. | |
